Spring time is in the air especially with this exlusive 9 day journey to Australia's biggest celebration of spring, the iconic Canberra Floriade. Make your way down to the country town of Tamworth, explore the vineyards at the Hunter Valley and visit the beautiful Blue Mountains. This trip is full of magnificent floral scenery and is fully hosted with a Travel Team Tour host.

This tour requires a moderate fitness level to participate. All passengers must be able to:

• Walk 10 mins without having to stop, sit down or rest

• Walk over uneven ground with no paving

• Walk an incline equal to a flight of stairs, without stopping

• Get in and out of transportation unassisted

• Stand for 30 mins, without needing to sit down

• Manage own luggage

Tour ItineraryDay 1, Wednesday, 19 SEP This morning you will depart Brisbane at 7.30am from the Roma Street Transit Centre, travelling via the Cunningham’s Gap to Warwick where you will stop for morning tea and take a tour at Abbey of the Roses. It was built for the Sisters of Mercy in 1891 and it housed up to 23 nuns and up to 60 girls. You will continue onto Tenterfield for a School of Arts Tour, followed by lunch, before making your way to Glen Innes to visit the Standing Stones. The site serves as a cultural gathering place for people from the Celtic communities. Your final stop today will be in the quaint town of Armidale where you will spend the night.

Day 2, Thursday, 20 SEP After breakfast you will depart for the country town of Tamworth known for its country music, you will visit the Golden Guitar and Waxworks, with time to have morning tea (at own cost). You will then continue on towards the vineyards of the Hunter Valley, visiting the Kurri Kurri murals before arriving at Cessnock for your two night stay.

Day 3, Friday, 21 SEP

Today will be spent seeing the sights of the Hunter Valley. Soak up nature at its most stunning at the Hunter Valley Gardens for a tour followed by lunch. Be inspired by the ten individually themed gardens that showcase both native and exotic varieties of plants. Later this afternoon you will have time to visit a winery for a tasting and explore some of the local specialty stores.

Day 4, Saturday, 22 SEP

This morning you will leave the Hunter Valley, down through Sydney to Canberra where you will spend the next three nights. For picture perfect views of Australia’s capital you will visit Mt Ainslie lookout. Take in Lake Burley Griffin and many of Canberra’s national attractions, framed by picturesque mountain ranges. Later this afternoon you will drive through the Embassy Precinct.

Day 5, Sunday, 23 SEP

After breakfast this morning you will visit the delightful and fascinating miniature landscapes of Cockington Green, ride the miniature steam trains and be captivated by this enchanting world featuring houses and monuments from more than 30 different countries. The day keeps getting better with a visit to the spectacular Tulip Top gardens. After lunch (at own expense) you will head to the Australian War Memorial, finishing the visit with the moving closing ceremony.

Day 6, Monday , 24 SEP

You will start the day with a visit and have a tour of Parliament House. Find some of Australia’s finest historical treasures and contemporary art on display throughout the building. After the tour it’s time to enjoy the spectacle of millions of flowers comprising Australia’s largest flower festival, Floriade. To complete the day you will have a visit to the National Arboretum for afternoon tea and a guided coach tour, showcasing the forests of Australia and the world.

Day 7, Tuesday , 25 SEP

This morning say goodbye to Canberra as you make your way to the Blue Mountains, visiting the wonderful tulips of Corbett Gardens in Bowral along the way. The garden is one of the regions oldest and most beautiful parks, you’ll be mesmerised by over 75,000 massed tulips on display. You will spend two nights in Katoomba.Stay: Skyrider Motor Inn

Day 8, Wednesday, 26 SEP

The day starts with pure delights as you drive to Echo Point for breathtaking views of the Jamison Valley and the iconic Three Sisters. Then it’s time to view the lovely gardens of Katoomba and Leura before a delightful morning tea at Bygone Beauties in Leura. Known for the largest privately owned Tea Pot collection in the world Bygone Beauties offers a truly memorable experience. After the morning tea you will travel to Scenic World for the rides (optional) and souvenir shopping, before returning to your accommodation.

Day 9, Thursday, 27 SEP This morning bid farewell to the Blue Mountains and travel to Sydney Airport for your homeward flight.

Travel Team Terms of Trade and Schedule of FeesPRICESSchedules and availability, fare conditions and prices can change at any time. Price changes may occur for reason or matters outside our control which increase the cost of the products or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases.

DEPOSITSTravel Team requires a booking deposit which is charged per person and deducted from your final balance. The deposit is non-refundable if you should cancel.i. Deposit for this tour is $600 per person and is due

within 7 days of booking.ii. Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure.

PAYMENTSAll prices are based on payment by cash, direct deposit or cheque. A credit card surcharge of 1.41% for Visa, 0.91% for Visa Debit, 1.27% for Mastercard, 0.87% for Mastercard Debit and 3% for American Express Card applies if you elect to use them for payment. If you opt to make a direct deposit into our nominated bank account it may take at least 24 hours to be processed into our account.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & AMENDMENTSAny cancellations of the Tour will result in the following cancellation fees: - 75 days or more prior to departure, loss of deposit.- Less than 75 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour package price. Cancellation must be made in writing for your reservation to be cancelled.

HEALTH & FITNESS/ACTIVITY LEVELYou must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel and that you are able to participate in the activities included in your itinerary. If you are unsure about your fitness to travel, please check with your GP or specialist clinic. Payment of deposit to Travel Team acts as a warranty that the traveller is reasonably healthy

and/or fit to participate in the tour. Travel Team reserves the right to remove a traveller from a tour at the traveller's own expense, if their health/ fitness interferes with the tour or other travellers’ tour experience in any way. We do not, nor are we required to, provide carers or assistants for those with reduced mobility or other health needs. In particular, tour guides, coach drivers, and your fellow passengers will not act as assistants or carers in these circumstances.

TRAVEL INSURANCETravel Insurance is highly recommended for all travellers. Travel Team can assist with your travel insurance needs. Please ensure you take note of the special inclusions and exclusions as they may relate to your particular circumstances.Pre-existing Medical conditions and cover for these are approved or rejected by the Insurer. If you have taken out another Travel Insurance Policy or believe you have adequate cover from a credit card policy we will require a photocopy and details of the insurance cover that you hold. Please note that if you have insurance from another source and subsequently require our assistance in processing an insurance claim, this will incur a fee of at least $220.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATIONTravel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other documentation used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including being non-refundable, non-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. These documents cannot be transferred to another person to use. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo id holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and it may be cancelled. Any errors in names, dates and timings on your documentation will be your responsibility if not advised at time of booking. As a general rule, your travel documents are issued by the service providers

two weeks prior to departure. For any amendments after final payment a fee of $55 per document plus supplier fees will be charged.

THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERSOur tour itinerary is a guide only and although we will make every reasonable effort to adhere to the programme, we reserve the right to make any alterations as necessary. Alterations may come about due to weather conditions, strikes, public holidays, local festivals, renovations and/or upgrades or other reasons. Any additional expense incurred by the passenger is not our responsibility.Your travel arrangements are subject to the booking conditions of each travel provider you are using. Travel Team is responsible for advising upon travel arrangements and making the bookings. Travel Team is not responsible for cancellations of tours, loss or damage directly or indirectly caused by the airline or suppliers and other transport delays or reschedules, or insolvency, loss or damage to person, property delays, accidents, acts of war and force majeure impacting upon your travel arrangements. Travel Team acts only as an agent.Airfares included in your package holiday are provided in economy class. Travel Team cannot be responsible for seating allocation.
