Though I have not worked as organizing secretary but I had worked as active member of the organizing committee in two IAAVP conferences a) V NCVP conference held at Udgir Dist Latur (MS) from 21-23 April ,1993 b) XXI NCVP conference held at Mumbai from 5-7 Jan 2011.
C. Summer institutes/workshop/training etc. organized related to Parasitology
Workshop cum training was organized on IPM of Livestock pests for livestock owners/farmers/SMS of Krishi Vidyan Kedras on 25th Sept 2012. In all total 247 farmers from across the Maharashtra State Participated. Uniqueness was that the first time workshop for farmers was of Day/Night nature and all field demonstrations including pests biting to livestock at Night was demonstrated. A booklet was also released for participants

5 Population dynamics and vector species of dipteran flies from Maharashtra were reported.
6 Culicoides spp,Phlebotomus spp, Simulium spp, Tabanus rufofrater, Pangonia spp,Haematopotaspp,along with Rhipicephalus microplus ticks were identified on the morphological basis and Molecular identification was reported from Maharashtra
7 Five research projects, 25 research publications, 5 lead papers and more than 20 years of research
on Entomology, which is main contribution of applicant (Dr B W Narladkar) in the area of Veterinary Entomology. Probably this is an unique example in the Vety Parasitology in last two decades.
8 Several awards in the area of research particularly best researcher by MAFSU and Excellent project report on Livestock pests by DBT New Delhi are amongst all
9 Attended more than 21 conferences( 11 conferences of IAAVP) and presented more than 50 contributory papers and 8 lead papers.
Extension Extension carried out through, three workshop for farmers, more than 100 popular articles in Marathi language, More than 100 AIR talks, 8 Doordarshan programmes, More than 50 times speeches during health camps, rallies etc on tick and fly control, appreciation by farmers for making two villages tick free through physical and fungal tick control programme , in all these efforts gives witness of VAST, EXTENSIVE and RIGOROUS efforts in the area of propagation of Parasitology for the well being of farmers/cattle owners.
