TRANSCRIPT
The Master of Human Kinetics in Sport Management (MHK SM) focuses on the understanding and application of theory to organizational principles and best-practices in the sport industry. Students pursue course work and a thesis or internship that examines the basic and applied
principles of leadership, organizational behaviour, sport marketing, Olympic studies, strategic management and historical and sociological perspectives of sport.
“I chose the MHK at Windsor to help me reach my goal of a career in the sports industry. While at Windsor, my courses provided me with a diverse understanding of all aspects of the sport management field. My time as an intern and researcher with the Canadian Olympic Committee allowed me to gain the practical experience I needed. This combination of practical work experience and classroom learning ensured that I was well-prepared to start my sport management career.”
