Currently, HKPFS provides a stipend of HK$25,800 (~US$3,307) per month and the University further provides an entrance scholarship worth around HK$81,096 (~US$10,396). HKPFS applicants are also automatically considered for Regular Admission to the University. Regular Admission Applicants can alternatively choose to apply for regular admission without going through HKPFS and also be financially supported up to the stipulated study period. The studentship rate for 2019/20 is HK$17,000 per month. English Requirements Except for applicants from universities using English as the medium of instruction, the University stipulates a minimum language requirement of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL ibt 79 (or equivalent) * For exceptional applicants with strong academic and research track records, a minimum score of 490 in CET-Band 6 may be considered for the English requirement. However, CET is not recognized as a sufficient proof of English proficiency for HKPFS.
