FIve day workshop on “Recent Advances in Control Systemsand its Applications (RACSA-2018)

6th – 10 th August 2018Department of Electrical and electronics engineering of ShriVishnu Engineering College for Women has organized a “RecentAdvances in Control Systems and its Applications” (RACSA-2018) during 6th– 10 th August 2018. The event was conducted inseminar hall, SVECW. In this event about 20 members fromvarious institutions have participated.This one week workshop isaimed at enriching the skills of faculty and researchers withadvanced techniques by a set of illustrious speakers, each of whomhas made fundamental contributions to the fields of controlsystems applications in Renewable energy systems and drives.

Three day workshop on “Power Electronic technologies for PVSystems” from 19th to 21st December-2018

Department of Electrical and electronics engineering of ShriVishnu Engineering College for Women (Autnomous) hasorganized a Three day Workshop on Power Electronictechnologies for PV Systems” from 19th to 21st December-2018.The event was conducted in seminar hall, SVECW. In this eventabout 40 members from various institutions have participated.

INDUSTRIAL VISITS(RK windings Kakinada)On 22-12-2018 in ourcollege has visited RKWindings ,kakinada andreached Reliance GasPlant at gadimogga.RamakrishnaElectrical(RK) windingshave facilities forrepairing and rewindingthe HT Motors, LT Motorsand Transformers. Theentire work is done in twoseparate units i.e. one forlow voltage machines andthe other for high voltagemachines. There are someparts of motors likebrushes, rotor, insulators,coils and also a Shell typetransformer which areobserved and also thewinding procedure andtype of insulatingmaterials . KanakaRaju ,Assistant Engineerhave explained in detailsabout each part and itsoperation and also theprocedure of seperatingthe parts of bulkmachines.
