SECOND CAPACITY BUILDING SEMINAR-WORKSHOP FOR REGISTERED GUIDANCE COUNSELORS AND CAREER GUIDANCE ADVOCATES
The Department of Education Guidance Counselors’ Association of the Philippines (DepEd GCAP), Inc., in cooperation with the Professional Regulation Commission-Board of Guidance and Counseling (PRC-BGC) will conduct its Second Capacity Buidling Seminar-Workshop for Registered Guidance Counselors and Career Guidance Advocates by cluster on the following dates and venues:

The Seminar-Workshop aims to:
1. equip the participants with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for assisting the youth in coming up with adequate and well-informed career decisions and in preparation for the implantation of the DepEd Career Guidance Week; and
2. develop further the competency skills as lead facilitators of trainings/learnings to assure the quality delivery of DepEd’s Career Guidance Advocacy Program (CGAP).
The target participants shall comprise the pool of regional guidance counselor’s (RGC’s) per division and region in both public and private elementary and secondary schools. However, in the absence of the or limited RGC’s, the CA’s (unlicensed/unregistered Guidance Counselors and locally designated Guidance teachers) can participate.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
