NOTICE FOR INVITING TENDERS

Sealed tenders are invited upto 05.01.2021 by 10.30 A.M. for installation of HDPE Geo-membrane 500-micron thick sheet in rainwater harvesting tank on Dyland Research Farm, DLA unit of the department for which the details are mentioned below. Interested parties having GST Number are requested to submit their tenders. Tender form can be purchased from the office of the undersigned on any working day from 9.00 AM to 4.30 PM on Demand Draft payment of Rs. 118/- (Rs. 100 + 18 % GST). The tender form accompanied by the earnest money of 5 % in favour ofDDO, Agronomy can be deposited latest by 05.01.2021 till 11.00 AM and these will be opened on 05.01.2021 at 12.00 noon. Details of the work and terms & conditions can be seen through the office of the Prof. & Head, Dept. of Agronomy and CCS HAU, Hisar on website www.hau.ac.in also. The detail of work is as under:

Detailed requirements and technical specifications/descriptions for "Lining of water tank at DLA farm" of DLA unit Department of Agronomy, CCSHAU, Hisar.

A. Requirement of the material/work 1. HDPE Geo-membrane 500-micron thick sheet with installation at site (Approximately

1100 square meter*). 2. Dressing/ cleaning necessary for installation (Approximately 1100 square meter*).

*Note: -• The requirement of material/work.-has been estimated as per the approximate dimensions of

the water tank, however the paym~nts will be made as per the actual material installed/work executed at the site.

• Bidder may visit the site for examination of shape, size and location of the water tank as well to clarify any ambiguity in the tender document during the office hours before the last date of bid submission.

B. Specifications of the material/work l. HDPE 500-micron thick sheet with installation at site

High Density Polyethylene Geo-membrane shall confonn to SI 15351 :2015. The technical data

2. Dressing/ cleaning necessary for installation.

The necessary dressing and cleaning of the sides and bottom of the lake if required shall have to be carried by bidder for obtaining uniform and even surface for longer life oflining. .

C. GENERAL CONDITIONS AND OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

I. PRODUCT DELIVERY

All the materials shall be delivered to the jobsite. During transit, all applicable rules and regulations must be followed. Jobsite storage and handling shall not create a nuisance nor damage the lining materials.

2. JOB CONDITIONS

Any of the materials shall not be fabricated, stored, or installed in climatic conditions that will adversely affect the quality of the finished lined storage pond.

3. WARRANTY:

The bidder shall warranty the entire material for a period of five (5) years after final installation. The warranty shall be against manufacturing defects of workmanship and against deterioration due to ozone, ultraviolet or any other normal environment conditions. In case of any defect in material or workmanship during warranty period the bidder shall have to repair/replace and install the material at his own cost.

4. EXPERIENCE OF CONTRACTOR

The bidder shall have an experience regarding installation of similar type of material at least of 5000 square meter in water tank/water storage ponds/water storage structures.
