Happy New Year from all the team at Clarence House2011 seems to have gone by so fast. We are happy to say great improvements have been happening at Clarence House.If you have been to see Dave, the hygienist, in the past twelve months you will be aware he has moved to a larger room on the ground floor. We have been very busy moving rooms around to accommodate our newly refurbished Central Sterilisation suite. We have also installed a high tech stair lift which has been a great benefit to ensure everybody can reach all the surgeries in the practice.

Our Cerec machine - the only one in Gloucester - has been an enormous asset to the practice enabling us to provide you with a number of different restorations from crowns, inlays & veneers in one easy visit. We have had a fantastic response from patients who have had teeth restored with Cerec restorations.

Staff news…We are happy to welcome Hazel Lumley to the practice this year as our new Dental Therapist. Her role is to take excellent care of the children’s teeth at Clarence House, providing advice on the best ways to care for their teeth and restoring their teeth where necessary. Hazel also works in community dental practice and has an interest working with special needs children. Appointments with Hazel are available at convenient times on Monday & Thursday from 3pm to 7pm.

More staff news…There must be a magical chair at Clarence House… once again we have reason to celebrate, Kate, Kate and Christine are all expecting babies in January, we wish them all the very best of luck & look forward to meeting all of the new babies.

A fond farewell to Jenny Smith & Georgina Pugh.

Georgie is leaving after three years at Clarence House to go travelling around Australia & New Zealand for twelve months. The very best of luck goes to Georgie whom we are sure will have the time of her life!

Jenny Smith is also off to pastures new having worked with us for six years! Jenny will be greatly missed, we all wish Jenny the very best of luck in her new career.

Rebecca Hill joined the practice last year and has been training hard; she is now ready to start her twelve month Dental Nursing course this December, Good Luck Rebecca!
