• Flossing is a mandatory part of any effective dental hygieneroutine. It is a fast and effective way to keep your teeth clean and healthy. To be more effective, it should be done at the end of the day, just when you are about to go to bed. Flossing is helpful in removing plague and any other food particles that your brushing is not able to remove.

• The floss you use should be clean – You don’t want contaminate your teeth with a dirty piece of floss. Be careful to floss between every tooth and to the gums. The floss material you use should be long enough to reach these places - preferably 15 inches!

• Your smile is important and reflects the health of your teeth. You do not have to spend too much on a mouthwash – A simple ADA-approved tooth care product is sufficient enough. An effective rinse will help kill the germs on your teeth and avoid infections.

• Dr Kezian will be more than glad to advise you on the most appropriate dental hygienetechniques.
