Cluster e-Freight
The Cluster will observe, report on, and disseminate information
regarding activities that are part of the e-Freight developments.
Some activities are addressed in the ongoing e-Freight project and
involve issues regarding:
- common framework,
- single transport document
- national single windows.
The e-freight project is the reference for this cluster.

Cluster e-Freight
The cluster working group will consist of the cluster leader MARLO and the partners PTV,
NEW, EIA, Rapp and VTT. In addition the following subcontractors NECL Ireland, Via Donau
Austria and ISL Germany would complete the working group.
Close contact and collaboration will be established with:
► The project co-ordinators of the EU funded project s
Freightwise, Euridice, Smart_CM, Integrity, SmartFreight, RISING, CHINOS, e-Freight,
COFRET, iCargo, Logistics for LIFE, SuperGreen, and 3DRAIL.
The group decided to investigate the possibilities of establishing a common framework for
information exchange.
► Similar developments in USA and Asia, in an attempt to ensure intercontinental
interoperability.
► GS1 and the activities related to interoperability initiated by them and Odette Sweden, who
is involved in both national and EU project related to interoperability in logistics.

Cluster e-Freight plan
more than 40 inventories and than 15 in-depth surveys over the
project life time.
The core partners will contribute with 20 inventories and 8 in-depth
cases, while the subcontractors will provide 20 inventories and 7 in-
depth cases.
The cluster will organize 3 cluster workshops over the project life
time.
