Here and There

Frances Greiff, a Beta Kappa member for 42 years, died on December 17, 2014, just ten days after the dedication of the BK Yearbook in her honor and after being honored for her 42 years of service and dedication to Delta Kappa Gamma. Frances is remembered for a keen intellect, exceptional skills at painting and writing, love of literature, and her selfless dedication to those in need. To the many who loved her, she is remembered for her incredible warmth, interest in others, and her love of life. In 2000, Frances illustrated and authored PRINTER LADY, the proceeds from which support various educational needs as noted by Beta Kappa members. Frances' support to the field of education and to Beta Kappa continues through the Frances Traxler Greiff Award set up by her husband in Frances' honor.
