This Veterans Day - Tuesday, Nov. 11 - Delta will recognize all veteran and active U.S. military personnel by offer-ing customers on every domestic Delta and Delta Connection flight a chocolate truffle packaged in a red and blue wrapper.We hope you will have some fun with this customer surprise and delight and help show our veterans how much the Delta family appreciates their service, sacrifice and patriotism.

Delta honors and thanks veterans with chocolate on Veterans Day

Make the following PA prior to beginning this special service:

Where

Place the chocolate truffles in First Class round basket(s) and offer to customers in both cabins - front to back. On most aircraft with a full cabin, baskets will need to be refilled to complete the service.

Chocolate truffles will be provisioned in all cabins on all domestic flights in clear plastic bags placed on the First Class/forward galley counter.

Note: Flights may be down-line/roundtrip catered. On these flights, the chocolates will also be round-tripped and will be notated with an orange cater-ing sticker. They’re intended as provisioning for the next flight operated by the aircraft.

Remember – only offer chocolate truffles intended to be used for your flight segment or your fellow crew members will be left short downline.

How

WhenPlease deliver the chocolate truffles in both cabins following the first service.

On flights where a beverage service is not scheduled in YC (flights 250 miles and less), please make the PA and then offer the chocolate truffles in both cabins after the 10,000 foot signal.

There will be one truffle per customer and just a few extra…including a treat for you.

Today we commemorate Veterans Day and as a country and a Delta Family, we honor American veterans for their service, sacrifice and patriotism.
