PRODUCTS

Reinforced concrete box substations Our box substations are designed in full accordancewith the main CEI regulations harmonized with the in-ternational regulations IEC EN 62271-202, and arefully manufactured, equipped and tested in our pre-mises and supplied to our customer’s ready for in-stallation and start-up.

DG 2061 seriesThe ENEL DG 2061 electrical substation type con-sists of two prefabricated reinforced concrete ele-ments (box and pre-casted basement) and isintended to be used as ENEL transformation cabinfor the containment of ENEL-unified medium-voltageswitchboards in all three types, medium-voltage/low-voltage transformer and low-voltage switchboardwith two or more outputs. The box is equipped withtrace lighting system with a small board for auxiliaryservices, an internal ground connection circuit, adoor with two leaves and two windows, all approvedby ENEL, a roof wind rotating ventilation and fiber-glass trapdoor on floor for access to basement. Thebox can be supplied with different internal fittings, soas to better fulfill the most varied technical and com-mercial requirements.

CSS 2÷6 seriesThese substations were designed to be used in thetransformation and distribution of electric power andcan be equipped with any medium-voltage and low-voltage equipment available in the market. Manufac-tured and tested in full accordance with the norms inforce, these substations are in accordance with theprescriptions of regulation CEI 0-16, with structuralcharacteristics and dimensions in compliance withENEL DG 2092. The concrete monoblock dimensionsin structure, are 2.5 m wide, 2.6 m high and can be aslong as necessary, according to their configuration,and to the customer’s needs.The CSS substations may be equipped with ENEL-unified fiberglass or stainless steel fittings as well asour galvanized sheet fittings, sand-blasted and pow-der-painted, for outdoor use.

CSS U seriesCSS U substations, designed for installation under-ground and partly underground, are manufactured tobe used in the transformation and distribution ofelectric power, for transformers of up to 1,250 kVAand equipped with medium-voltage switchboardstype RMU or with mixed insulation, and low-voltageboards for TRAFO protection. CSS U substations are suitable for installation inareas with architectural or landscape limitations; theycan also be further disguised by applying small flowerbeds or gardens to the visible part, to complete itsfull integration with the surrounding environment.


At customer's request or in case of particular techni-cal requirements, Delta Technology can design me-dium-voltage systems personalized and adapted tothe avaible space/room, or else to integrate themwithin a CSS series box substation. Whatever thecase, Delta Technology has tuned its own kno-wledge in order to offer its customers the widestrange of solutions, to fulfill any kind of demand.

MEDIUM- AND LOW-VOLTAGE BOARDS

Delta Technology is particularly careful when selec-ting its equipment, in line with the company's willin-gness to take its quality standards up towards thehighest indexes of versatility and reliability. This isachieved thanks to a synergy developed through theyears as a consolidated partnership with SCHNEI-DER ELECTRIC.

This is the solution that Delta Technology applies tothe development of its own projects: the results ob-tained in the installation of systems for shoppingmalls, hospitals, industries, photovoltaic and wind-power parks etc, in which reliability and quality areabsolutely necessary, are constant confirmationsthat we have chosen well.All substations are were designed to receive the SM6system, consisting in a series of compact modularunits, equipped with the following SF6-insulatedswitching and isolating devices:

• SF1 or SFset switch.• Air-break switch-isolator.• Isolator.The switchboards can be equipped with a SEPAMprotection relay, certified and in accordance withspecification CEI 0-16, with keyboard and LCD di-splay for the insertion, regulation and reading of pa-rameters for intervention events visualization andrecording, self-diagnostics and network monitoringfunctions. With SM6 units it is possible to carry outall typical system diagrams related to power distri-bution up to 24 kV. Low-voltage equipment, manu-factured with the Prisma Plus functional system,allows for the installation of any kind of low-voltagedistribution board, for all applications, from servicesto industry. All Prisma Plus components, consisting of modulardrawers or cabinets, are completely designed, testedand guaranteed by SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC andallow for the manufacturing of low-voltage boards inaccordance with regulation CEI-EN 60439-1.


MV/LV POWER TRANSFORMERS

Delta Technology offers a wide range of resin or mi-neral oil transformers, produced by the main Italianmanufacturers and accessorized with control andalarm devices. The transformers may be installed in transformercells or in substation rooms, designed to ensure ac-cess with maximum safety and the suitable, naturaldisposal of the heat produced.

RETROFITTING TO CEI 0-16

In conformity with regulation CEI 0-16 and in accor-dance with AEEG, referring to the technical require-ments of the system which is to be adapted and tothe dispositions of the power distribution company,our company supplies and places:

• Power supply substation manufactured inaccordance with regulation ENEL DG 2092;

• ENEL-approved fiberglass fittings;• Protected medium-voltage boards for indoor use,

type D.G., for general protection and transformerprotection, complete with general protection inaccordance with CEI 0-16;

• Retrofitting kit for the existing D.G. medium-voltgeboard (if compatible), consisting of:

- CEI 0-16-approved microprocessor electronic relay;- Transformers/current sensors;- UPS static continuity unit for the power supply of

the protection relay (P.G.);- Unipolar medium-voltage cable, 95 mm2 of

section, complete with terminals, for theconnection of the ENEL medium-voltage U-typeboard to the D.G. general protection medium-voltageboard.
