IntroductionDelta Dental has two Federal programs that are administered by the Federal Government Programs division of Delta Dental of California through its subsidiary Delta Dental Insurance Company (DDIC).• The Veterans Affairs Dental Insurance Program (VADIP) • Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) Both dental programs help protect you from unexpected dental expenses and makes it easier to afford to keep up the regular checkups, cleanings and other preventive treatments you need to keep your mouth healthy.

FEDVIP• TRICARE Retiree Dental Program ended on 12/31/18• The Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) is a voluntary,

enrollee-pay-all dental and vision program available to Federal employees and annuitants, certain retired uniformed service members, and active duty family members. It is sponsored by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and offers eligible participants a choice between ten dental and four vision carriers.

• BENEFEDS administers the enrollment, plan change, and premium payment processes for FEDVIP.

• Changes to plans can be made during Open Season or if you have a Qualifying Life Event
