1. Create a new project

View all projects you have created or have been granted access to on the My Projects page. Sort project listing by column headers.

Click “Add New” to create a new project.

Enter relevant project information in the fields provided. All fields are required.

After you have filled in details about your audit engagement, click “Create.” You will be taken to the project’s landing page.

2. Create a new deliverable

3From the landing page of a specific project, click “Add New” to access the Create a New Deliverable popup and initiate a new draft.

Select the source of your new deliverable, either a Scribe template or an existing deliverable.

Enter a name for your deliverable and the Estimated Release Date. Proceed to select the source template or deliverable from the list.

4 Click “Create.” Your deliverable will be created and you will be prompted to fill in the Quick Start Form.

3. Edit a deliverable

4Use the Quick Start Form to enter basic information, such as Date of Letter, to be pre-populated into your draft.

Utilize standard word processing functionality (e.g. add a section, paragraph or comment to your deliverable) to edit your deliverable. You can add custom sections or paragraphs and leave comments after highlighting the relevant text. Your deliverable is automatically saved in real-time.

Navigate between “Instructions,” “Edit,” “Compare” and “Preview” modes to access different functionality.

Text highlighted in gray signifies Quick Start fields. Text highlighted in light yellow signifies items that require auditor judgment and editing.

4. Compare a deliverable

5. Preview a deliverable and download

On the left, view and edit your draft deliverable.

On the right, see the comparison of your deliverable to the selected template or deliverable. Text unique to your deliverable will be shown in blue. Text absent from your deliverable will be shown in red.

1 2In “Preview” mode review a clean (no markup) version of your deliverable.

Click “Download” to export a Microsoft Word version to your desktop.

Select whether your draft is compared to its base template, to another template, or to another Scribe deliverable you have access to. You may also upload a Word document to compare it your deliverable.

6. Reconcile a deliverable

Use the buttons between your deliverable and the template comparison to conform your deliverable to template updates.

7. Finalize a deliverable

Paragraphs that are not impacted by the template update are hidden by default. Use the toggle to display these paragraphs.

Expedite the reconciliation of your deliverable. Update all sections at once.

4Reconciliation Mode automatically becomes available when your deliverable’s template is updated. See the FAQs for details.

Obtain more information about how to reconcile your deliverable.

Navigate between the sections of your deliverable that have been impacted by the template update.

Carefully review the notifications in the popup and click Finalize Document. For more information, please refer to the FAQs.
