Pioneering Survey Report 2015 on BPM Adoption in India

For global organizations, India has continued to remain the hub for providing business process management services. But knowledge-sharing and dissemination with regards to adopting BPM and setting up of Shared Services Centers in India is still a challenge. Since one of the objectives of the Shared Services Forum is also to disseminate the required knowledge, the Forum is conducting a survey that will cover BPM implementation for all domains and staff functions.

In the year 2012, SSF in partnership with RvaluE Consulting had conducted first of its kind study about the shared services adoption by Indian organizations both in the public and private sectors. The Survey Report, released as a SSF publication, gave major insights on BPM & shared Services adoption in the country.

As a sequel to the above, SSF is pioneering ‘Survey 2015’, to be released at the Conclave 2015 event, to understand the reality of BPM adoption in the Indian Industry, and fully leverage the best practices in the context of ‘Global India’!. The Survey Report will capture the current state of BPM adoption by Indian companies including ET500, whether in shared services model, or otherwise – the drivers, requirements, challenges, functions, processes, practices, technologies used, value realized, as well as emerging trends for such adoption in the future. The respondents will have varied demographic profiles, including the government sector to explore the status of SSC adoption across a wide range of Industries.
