Dekken, an urban athletics store is looking to set up shop in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. They are interested in marketing their stylish brand of athletic clothing to young adults aged 14-30. The owners of Dekken are passionate about giving back to the community and protecting the environment. They want to use primarily sustainable products in their space, as well as donate 10% of proceeds earned in the store to the children’s Heartlink Organization. Because the company is new, they will need a complete brand identity to help them get on their feet in a highly competative market.
Dekken is an urban athletic clothing store whose name is derived from the German word for “cover.” Contemporary, sleek, and polished, Dekken provides sportswear that doubles as everyday wear. Sustainability is important to the company and therefore an integral part of the design. In order to minimize its environmental footprint, the store will use reclaimed wood, recycleable packaging, and natural daylighting.
Mission Dekken’s mission is to bring top quality layer clothing for the Minneapolis-St. Paul urban athletic men while delivering fresh and innovative local artists’ designs that will best represent the culture of the Minneapolis area. In addition, Dekken believes in achieving its mission while attaining the outermost possible ethical behavior with our employees, customers, and competitors.

PartiOur parti song is Teenage Crime by Adrienne Lux. The song stacks a lot of different sounds, and Dekkenís layering concept is derived from the sound overlay in the song.
