The present map shows the damaged area near the village of El Oro, eastern SPAIN. The thematic layer, assessing the delineation of the event and its grading, has been created by visual interpretation of post-event image (RapidEye-1, acquired on 05/07/2012, 6.5 m resolution), used as background imagery on the map. Another image was used to analyze the areas covered by clouds, on the eastern part of the area of interest (Deimos-1, acquired on 02/07/2012, 20 m resolution). The areas occluded by clouds in both images are displayed as "Clouds" in the legend and they have not been analyzed. The satellite images have been radiometrically enhanced and georeferenced. The estimated geometric accuracy of this product is 12.5 m CE90 or better, from native positional accuracy of the background satellite image. The estimated thematic accuracy of this product is 85% or better, as the analysis technique has been validated by several in field validation campaigns.
