FUTURE TRANSITION STEPS
Enable endpoint classification and marking of Skype for Business voice, video and possibly sharing. Invoke WMM wireless queuing. Transition endpoints with legacy wireless standards.
Accept WMM on the AP/WLC. Transition 802.11abg access points to 802.11ac. Consider transitioning 802.11n access points to 802.11ac. Increase density thus decrease cellsizes.
Transition 100Mb access switches. Add multiple gigabit uplinks thus decrease oversubscription ratio.
Transition End of Life switches
Establish dedicated connectivity to realtime critical cloud providers with options for QoS
In good shape – align QoS configuration for voice/video with campus network infrastructure
Transforming current state to a future state supporting the business requirements will require changes
