• The ice melting is a fusion/melting of snow and ice, inicialized on spring, resulting of a temprature rise above 0ºC.

• O degelo é uma fusão, derretimento da neve e gelo iniciado no período de primavera como consequência de um aumento da temperatura acima de 0ºC.

The most know cause of ice melting is the global warming, wich is a consequence of the other tipes of polution.

A causa mais conhecida do degelo é o aquecimento global, que por sua vez é provocado pelos varios tipos de poluição.

- increase the level of the sea;

- the animals lose their habitat;

- the lost of ice in poles means less solar energy reflected to space, that helps global warming (agravamento)

• Besides all the warnig´s and publicity spots in tv and in other places, the true is that all this (envairomental) problems and ishues will allways be a subject in our day life.

• Is up to us try to make the diference.
