DECEPTION of GOD’S NAME – Part Seven: SHAMASH,YHWH, YAHWEH, MASORITES

The Hanukkah menorah, also chanukiah or hanukkiah : On each night of Hanukkah a new branch is lit. The ninth holder, called the shamash ("helper" or "servant"), is for a candle used to light all other candles and/or to be used as an extra light. To be kosher the shamash must be offset on a higher or lower plane than the main eight candles or oil lamps, but there are differing opinions as to whether or not all the lights must be arranged in a straight line, or if the channukiah can be arranged in a curve.

Shamash, (Akkadian), Sumerian Utu, in Mesopotamian religion, the god of the sun, who, with the moon god, Sin (Sumerian: Nanna), and Ishtar (Sumerian: Inanna), the goddess of Venus, was part of an astral triad of divinities. Shamash was the son of Sin. Shamash, as the solar deity, exercised the power of light over darkness and evil. In this capacity he became known as the god of justice and equity and was the judge of both gods and men. (According to legend, the Babylonian king Hammurabi received his code of laws from Shamash.) At night, Shamash became judge of the underworld. The unsaved Jews know very well what they are doing and teaching the world from their kabbalah. They knew all along this shamash is a sun god for they worship the sun, moon and stars.

Shamash (Akkadian: ŠamašUD ��) was the solar deity in ancient Semitic religion,

corresponding to the Sumerian god Utu. Shamash was also the god of justice in

Babylonia and Assyria. Akkadian šamaš "Sun" is cognate to Syriac: ܫܡܫܐ‎ šemša,

Hebrew: ש מ .‎‎ šamsشمس :‎‎ šemeš and Arabicש

For those of you familiar with what a “Mandela” is, this should not even surprise us. We are seeing changes to our Bibles, not new translations bought out of the

Wilhelm Gesenius's Hebrew punctuation (i.e., Yahweh)

The Hebrew scholar Wilhelm Gesenius [1786–1842] suggested that the Hebrew punctuation יהוה, which is transliterated into English as "Yahweh", might more accurately represent the pronunciation of the tetragrammaton than the Biblical Hebrew punctuation "יהוה", from which the English name "Jehovah" has been derived. His proposal to read YHWH as "יהוה‎" (see image to the left) was based in large part on various Greek transcriptions, such as ιαβε, dating from the first centuries CE but also on the forms of theophoric names. In his Hebrew Dictionary, Gesenius supports "Yahweh" (which would have been pronounced [jahwe], with the final letter being silent) because of the Samaritan pronunciation Ιαβε reported by Theodoret, and that the theophoric name prefixes YHW [jeho] and YH [jo] can be explained from the form "Yahweh".[12]Gesenius' proposal to read YHWH as יהוה‎ is accepted as the best scholarly reconstructed vocalised Hebrew spelling of the tetragrammaton.

Gesenius kept for the most part to the lines laid down by the Hebrew

grammarians of the Middle Ages, the Ḳimḥis and their followers, but in the

successive editions made ever greater use of comparative Semitic philology.

**Remember, they are translating, not writing God’s Word from inspiration of

Holy Spirit. God would never have entrusted His Word to originally be written by

someone who wasn’t truly following Him and walking in step with Him. **As a

supplement to these works, Gesenius issued in 1815 his "Geschichte der

Hebräischen Sprache und Schrift," and this still remains the only available sketch

of the history of the study of the Hebrew language.

In a few strokes, he disposes of the myth of Hebrew as the language of creation—

still seriously defended by some of his contemporaries—and replaces it with his

historical approach. The original home of the language is Canaan, as is shown by

its proximity to Phoenician.

Gesenius also draws attention to the fact that post-biblical, i.e. Talmudic, Hebrew

often links up with Late Biblical Hebrew and continues to use the same

expressions. He attributes these phenomena to the gradual dying out of Hebrew:

in exile, Aramaic was adopted by the Judaeans alongside Hebrew, and after the

return it progressively crowded out the ancestral tongue, until by the late

Maccabeanage Hebrew remained only as a written language. The dying out of

Biblical Hebrew happened after the Biblical period.

Linguistic mysticism of Hebrew

Kabbalistic thought extended Biblical and Midrashic notions that God enacted Creation through the Hebrew language and through the Torah into a full linguistic mysticism. In this, every Hebrew letter, word, number, even accent on words of the Hebrew Bible contain esoteric meanings, describing the spiritual dimensions within exoteric ideas, and it teaches the hermeneutic (from hermes, the occult

version of enoch) methods of interpretation for ascertaining these meanings. **Remember a few weeks ago I showed a clip where Perry was talking about this very thing and he mentioned rule 29. The only thing you need to interpret God’s Word is Him, His Holy Spirit and prayer.**Names of God in Judaism have further prominence, though fluidity of meaning turns the whole Torah into a Divine name. * What on Earth?! – Crazy. * As the Hebrew name of things is the channel of their lifeforce, parallel to the sephirot, so concepts such as "holiness" and "mitzvot" embody ontological Divine immanence, as God can be known in manifestation as well as transcendence. The infinite potential of meaning in the Torah, as in the Ein Sof, is reflected in the symbol of the two trees of the Garden of Eden; the Torah of the Tree of Knowledge is the external, Halachic Torah, through which mystics can perceive the unlimited Torah of the Tree of Life. Lurianic expression, each of the 600,000 souls of Israel find their own interpretation in Torah.

This is bondage, they search the scriptures and can’t find Jesus because of their hardened hearts and blinded eyes.

As early as the 1st century BCE Jews believed that the Torah and other canonical texts contained encoded messages and hidden meanings. Gematria is one method for discovering its hidden meanings. Each letter in Hebrew also represents a number; Hebrew, unlike many other languages, never developed a separate numerical alphabet. By converting letters to numbers, Kabbalists were able to find a hidden meaning in each word. This method of interpretation was used extensively by various schools.

Especially due to the existence of the Mesha Stele, the Jahwist tradition found in Exod. 3:15, and ancient Hebrew and Greek texts, biblical scholars widely hold that the tetragrammaton and other names of God were spoken by the ancient Israelites and their neighbours.

Some time after the destruction of Solomon's Temple, the spoken use of God's name as it was written ceased among the people, even though knowledge of the pronunciation was perpetuated in rabbinic schools. Philo calls it ineffable, and says that it is lawful for those only whose ears and tongues are purified by wisdom to hear and utter it in a holy place (that is, for priests in the Temple). In another passage, commenting on Lev. xxiv. 15 seq.: "If any one, I do not say should blaspheme against the Lord of men and gods, but should even dare to utter his name unseasonably, let him expect the penalty of death."

Rabbinic sources (*talmud, kabbalah, zohar etc.*)suggest that the name of God was pronounced only once a year, by the high priest, on the Day of Atonement. Others, Including Maimonides, claim that the name was pronounced daily in the liturgy of the Temple in the priestly benediction of worshippers (Num. vi. 27), after the daily sacrifice; in the synagogues, though, a substitute (probably "Adonai") was used. According to the Talmud, in the last generations before the fall of Jerusalem, the name was pronounced in a low tone so that the sounds were lost in the chant of the priests.

Since the destruction of Second Temple of Jerusalem in 70 CE, the tetragrammaton has no longer been pronounced in the liturgy. However the pronunciation was still known in Babylonia in the latter part of the 4th century.

The name YHVH was injected into the text of the Old Testament by the Pharisees

and others who practiced Babylonian Satanism (the precursor to Cabalism and

The wise Solomon asks, "what is [God's] name, and what is his son's name, if thou

canst tell?" (Pro 30:4). God's name is אהיה AHAYAH (sometimes transliterated

Ehyeh) meaning I AM. This is the name given to Moses along with the Law. "And

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel never used any personal name to distinguish

Him from any peers because He had no peers. Therefore, no personal name was ever

needed. The only name He gave for Himself was "I Am," which indicated that He is to

be identified with all existence. The Greek Septuagint Old Testament of 285BC never

used any sacred name for God, nor was such ever mentioned by other ancient

writers such as the Israelite historians, Philo, and Josephus, or the later Eusebius, or

even the Jewish Aristeas the Exegete who wrote his commentary on the Greek

Septuagint. The word did not appear in any Old Testament text until the Masoretic

Text of 1000AD!

From the viewpoint of modern theologians, it must first be understood that they all

still accept the Masoretic Hebrew text of 1,000 AD as the true ancient language and

Old Testament of our patriarchs. Since that Masoretic Text includes the four letter

tetragrammeton, YHWH, over 6,000 times, theologians are forced to speculate that

Moses must have put it in his Pentateuch. The Anchor Bible Dictionary, vol. 6, p.

1012, reads as follows: "In terms of the biblical narrative, some suggest that Moses

derived the name of Yahweh from the Egyptians, while others think Yahweh was a

Midianite deity worshipped by the Kenite clan. Moses would have been introduced to

this new deity when he married the daughter of Jethro..." Certainly, Moses would

have been acquainted with the Pagan religion of the Egyptians. But, even if the

Pentateuch was actually written by Moses (which is not known for sure) in the 15th

C. BC, he could not have written it in the Hebrew language which was not formed

until the time of the Israelite captivities, from the 8th to 6th centuries BC, when the

captive Israelites merged their native Phoenician language with the Aramaic of their

captors. Now, I ask you, who wants to raise his hand to claim that Moses adopted

the name of a foreign deity as a substitute for "God" or "Lord." If we set aside the

closed-minded obduracy of modern scholarship, we can see that Moses did not write

any text in the modern Hebrew language because it did not exist at that time, nor

was there any Hebrew alphabet or script. The oldest Old Testament text known is

the Greek Septuagint of 285 BC, and the word does not appear in it one single time,

or in any other ancient Israelite writing, with one exception which I will get into later.
