BOOKING INFORMATION
Our program caters for children from Reception to Year 6. We aim to provide a safe, stimulating environment for the children to enjoy their school holidays. Places are limited and days may be fully booked prior to the closing date so to avoid disappointment please return your booking form ASAP. OPERATING HOURS The program operates between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. You may drop off or pick up your child(ren) anytime between these hours but please be aware that children are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to excursion departure times. Remember to sign your children in and out each day. PROGRAM A range of activities will be offered during the day, including craft, board games, sports, playground, plus our main morning and afternoon activity. The program will be displayed on the notice board. STAFF We operate on a ratio of 1 staff member to 15 children onsite and 1 staff member to 8 children on excursions where no swimming is involved. 1 staff member to 5 children where swimming is involved. BOOKINGS Please complete the attached booking form indicating the days you require and return by FRIDAY THE 9TH OF DECEMBER 2016 so staffing and excursion arrangements can be made. Once your booking form is received a booking confirmation will be emailed confirming days booked, what to bring and any other special requirements. The booking confirmations may be sent after the closing date. WAITLIST If a day is fully booked your child(ren) can be placed on a waiting list and we will notify you if a place becomes available. CANCELLATIONS If a cancellation is made you will be charged the full fee for dates booked unless we are able to fill your child's spot with a child on the waitlist. However, if your child cannot attend due to illness please provide a doctors certificates and fees will be waived. EXCURSIONS Children need to arrive 30 minutes before departure time. Spending money is not permitted on excursions. FEES $55 per child/per day, plus extra for excursions or special activities as indicated.
FEE PAYMENT You will be billed through the fortnightly billing cycle. An invoice with the outstanding balance will be emailed to the parent or guardian on the Monday and account will be debited on the Tuesday. All payments will be processed using Ezidebit. All information on the Ezidebit forms must be kept current. Payment must be made using our Ezidebit system. If you are not already included on our Ezidebit system for payment please complete the attached Ezidebit form. Once this is received we will confirm your enrolment.
CHILD CARE BENEFIT (CCB) AND REBATE (CCR) Prince Alfred College OSHC is an Approved Provider. If you want to claim CCB and/or CCR please make sure you have provided all required details to OSHC. If you are unsure of what to do please do not hesitate to contact Kate Virgin to discuss.
FOOD Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a drink bottle must be brought each day unless indicated otherwise. We suggest the children bring extra morning and afternoon snacks. There is water available. We follow Prince Alfred Collage Nut Aware Policy. No nuts are to be brought into the OSHC nor will they be used in any activities. All external providers are made aware that we are Nut Aware.
CLOTHING & BELONGINGS Please ensure all items of clothing and belongings are named. Appropriate clothing should be worn according to the program. No singlets or short shorts (due to sun safety). The children must bring a hat every day. A hat and sunscreen must be worn for all outdoor activities.
