(2) LANAVET shall have legal personality and financial autonomy. (3) lt shall be headquartered in Garoua. (4) As and when necessary, LANAVET may have sub-entities in the form of annexes, branches, agencies, offices or representations. (5) The sub-entities referred to in paragraph 4 above may be set up within or outside the national territory, by resolution of the Board of Directors. ARTICLE 2: (1) The State of Cameroon shall be the sole shareholder of LANAVET. (2) The shareholding of LANAVET may be open to other public or private entities. (3) The aicles of association of LANAVET shall set foh conditions governing equity participation.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC,

Mindful of the Constitution;

Mindful of the OHADA Uniform Act Relating to Commercial Companies and Economie lnterest Groups, adopted on 30 January 2014 at Ouagadougou;

Mindful of Law No. 2017/11 of 12 July 2017 to lay down the general rules and regulations governing public corporations;

ARTICLE 1: (1) With effect from the date of signature of this decree, the National Veterinary Laboratory, abbreviated and hereinafter ·referred to as "LANAVET", is transformed into a State_.owned Corporation.

(2) LANAVET shall have legal personality and financial autonomy.

(3) lt shall be headquartered in Garoua.

(4) As and when necessary, LANAVET may have sub-entities in the form ofannexes, branches, agencies, offices or representations.

(5) The sub-entities referred to in paragraph 4 above may be set up within oroutside the national territory, by resolution of the Board of Directors.

ARTICLE 2: (1) The State of Cameroon shall be the sole shareholder of LANAVET.

(2) The shareholding of LANAVET may be open to other public or privateentities.

(3) The articles of association of LANAVET shall set forth conditionsgoverning equity participation.
