Painting Instructions:Base coat the surface with 2 coats of Chalky Finish using the 1” Wash brush, let dry between coats. When completely dry, transfer the design onto the surface.

Lettering:Paint the lettering with Titanium White using the #2 Round brush. This will need at least 2-3 coats to make nice and opaque.

Leaves and stems:The larger leaves under the flowers are base coated with a mix of Yellow Green Light + Viridian Green Hue (1:1) using the #2 Round. The little leaves are base coated the same way with a mix of Green Gold + Viridian Green Hue (3:1). Using the #6 Shader, sideload the brush with Viridian Green Hue and float a shadow on all the leaves at the base and where the leaves tuck under the flowers. Thin Viridian Green Hue with a touch of water and using the liner brush add the stems and vines.

Pink Flowers and buds:Mix Titanium White with a touch of Quinacridone Red to make desired pink shade. Paint all the flowers and buds with this color using the #2 Round brush. Using the #6 Shader, float the shading

around the center of each flower and at the base of each bud with a mix of Titanium White + Quinacridone Red (1:1). Using the same brush, highlight the outer edge of the petals and the buds with a float of Titanium White. Use the #2 Round to pounce in the centers with Yellow Oxide. Then pounce a smaller area of Titanium White to highlight. Add some tiny dots around the center with they stylus and Quinacridone Red.

Blue Flowers and Buds:Base coat all the blue flowers and buds with Cerulean Blue using the #2 Round. This will need at least 2-3 coats to make it nice and opaque. Mix Cerulean Blue with Titanium White (1:1) and using the #6 Shader, highlight the outer edges of the petals and buds. Pounce in the centers with Yellow Oxide using the #2 Round. Using the stylus, add tiny dots around the center with Titanium White.

Calyx:Add the calyx on all the buds with a mix of Green Gold + Viridian Green Hue (1:1) using the #2 Round.

Finishing:Line the lettering on the right sides with a very thin line of Viridian Green Hue thinned with a touch of water to make it inky. Thin Yellow Oxide with a touch of water and add the vein lines on the leaves with the liner brush. Using the stylus, add groups of 3 dots here and there throughout the flowers. When dry, remove any remaining graphite lines. Varnish with 3 coats of varnish, letting dry between coats. When completely dry, attach the screw eyes and the chain.
