Diagnose the problem - solve the problem after the symptoms. 2. Analyze the environment-(do not solve a problem by creating another problem). 3. Articulate the problem - 5 whys. 4. Develop variable alternatives-business. 5. Evaluate alternatives. 6. Make a choice. 7. Implement the decision. 8. Evaluate and adopt decision results. *QUANTITATIVE TOOLS 1. Inventory Models (Materials) - level of inventory. 2. Queuing Theory - sample-cashier and traffic lights. 3. Network Model - identifying critical path. 4. Forecasting - future sight. 5. Regression analysis – statistics. 6. Simulation. 7. Linear Programming. 8. Sampling theory - acceptance sampling - checking only part of it.
