HIPPY WHITTLESEA You can be a part of the HIPPY program if you:

• live in the area of the City of Whittlesea

• have a pre-school child (the year before prep starts)

• are willing to spend 15 minutes a day doing fun activities with your child

• will commit to the two year program.

BENEFITS OF HIPPY?HIPPY is fun for you both, learning together and assists parents/carers as their child’s first teacher.

HIPPY supplies activity packs, which include free story books and activities. You will get 30 packs in the first year and 15 packs in the second year.

These packs provide the tools you need to spend time learning and playing with your child, and your Home Tutor will show you how to make the most of them.

HIPPY assists you in getting your child ready for school.

HOW DOES IT WORK?HIPPY is a two-year program. It is open to families living in the City of Whittlesea, Victoria.

The HIPPY program starts with your child in the year before starting full time school, usually around 4 years old.

Your Home Tutor will visit you weekly at home, work or in the community and bring fun things to do with your child.
