December 28 Pray that Lou Gasparini, Street Outreach and Pier Specialist has a blessed birthday. We praise his exceptional work with the homeless living on the street. December 29 Pray for the children residing in the Family Life Center shelter during their holiday break from school. December 30 We thank God for all the companies that continually donate food to the Mission, may God bless their businesses for their generosity to the poor . December 31 Pray for protection from temptation on this eve of parties for all our homeless guests who are battling addiction. December 16 Praise the Lord for four young moms who have secured apartments, that the Lord will watch over them during their time of transition.

December 17 Thank the Lord for the fundraising events that the Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union held for the Mission over the last few months.

December 18 Pray for Javier who is homeless and battling pancreatic cancer that God’s mercy and love will be present in his life.

December 19 Karla, a homeless women at the mis-sion requests prayer over her family that they will one day come to know the love of Jesus.

December 20 A women at the Mission requests pray for her husband that his back and feet will be healed.

December 21 Keith requests prayer that he will continue in recovery and soon become gainfully em-ployed and follow his faith and in purpose in helping others.

December 22 Praise the large donation of Gifts in No-vember that were used to stock the birthday closer for Children of homeless moms that will stay here throughout the year.

December 23 Pray for the health and safety of our street outreach chaplains who are outside every day bring people back to the Mission for help.

December 24 CHRISTMAS EVE - Pray for a wonderful Christmas Eve worship service tonight at the Mission.

December 25 CHRISTMAS DAY - Praise the Lord for all the volunteers who helped during the busy holiday season.

December 7 Frank requests prayer for his mother who is elderly, with severe heart and back problems and his sister who just had a heart attack.

December 8 We are grateful to Father & Son Farm for donating a por-tion of the proceeds from their corn maze to the Mission this fall. Ask God to bless them.

December 9 Praise and good wishes for Dorothea Stuart, Single Women's Evening Counselor, to have a blessed birthday! Thank you for all that you do.

December 10 Praise the Lord for a strong group of female Work Readiness Clients whoa re doing an outstanding job organizing the Mission’s Donations receiving area.

December 11 Praise God for our new connection with domestic violence counseling for children and their moms.

December 12 Pray for Cheril a wonderful mother of four who needs full-time employment.

December 13 A young mom of three, who is also raising three teenage siblings on her own that she will be able to maintain her schooling and that the bur-dens of her life will be eased.

December 14 Pray for a special birthday blessing for Kathryn Mimmo Women’s Case manager and the work she does on behalf of the homeless.

December 15 Praise for all the wonderful donations of toys and gifts for the homeless children at the mission.

December 1 Prayers and blessing for Mark and Lou our Street Outreach Chaplains who brought in several new people that had been living under the boardwalk and abandoned stairwells.

December 2 We thank God for the generous people attending the Port Republic Christmas Tree Lighting tonight who will be donating new toys for our needy children.

December 3 An anonymous homeless mother and her son request prayer as they face the holidays alone since the passing of their loving husband and father.

December 4 Pray for those on the street now that the weather is colder that they will come in for shelter and help.

December 5 Pray for Judy, a young mom with sub-stance abuse and mental health issues that God in his loving mercy will allow her to restore her life.

December 6 Desi requests prayer that all the brothers in Overcomer’s would pray together and be of one accord in the name of Jesus.

Oh Merciful and loving father, these are tidings of great joy, for the Good News has come. As we contemplate the season, we are reminded of the words of your son: “Thy King-dom come. Thy Will be done. On Earth as it is in Heaven.” It reminds us that all are welcome home; even the Homeless. Together we can be the instruments of YOUR will, remembering to love all, as YOU love all of us.

Then Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
