MALCOLM LIEPKE
Malcolm Liepke was born in 1953 and raised in Minneapolis. As a student he hungered for ‘classical’ training rather than the ‘conceptual’ ideas being taught. Through pattern, colour and bravura brushwork, Liepke delves deeply into profound areas of human nature. secret passion for painting. His work presents an exaggerated
obsession with recreating a reality, which reaches beyond the

and concept of hyperrealism using it as a vehicle to take us
onto another level wherein he achieves an extraordinary kind of
intensity, which paradoxically creates a distinct feeling of unreality.
as one of the foremost exponents of hyperrealism in Spain today.
