Hey, Families! Welcome back from Thanksgiving Break! I hope everyone has a wonderful time with their families. We are now in the holiday season, which is always the season for giving! This year, Plato is participating in Camelot Giving Tree. We are sponsoring a 6 year old boy named Javon and I hope we can donate and make his Christmas amazing. I attached the link for the sign up on here and will also send it in the update emails. Make sure all gifts are unwrapped.

Reminder, we also go to Enterprise Village this Wednesday, 12/4! Students should dress in nice and appropriate clothing. I would say business casual. Remember, chaperones have to be there early for training.

In math, we are starting fresh with topic 7, which looks at adding and subtracting fractions! The notes are posted on the website already.

In ELA, we are continuing unit 2 and starting to really dive in with opinion writing lessons and practice. We will be reading a new short text this week and comparing that text with two previous texts we have read.

In science, we are beginning the next topic, which focuses on Energy! This week, we will learn all about the different forms of energy. I will also be attaching the sign up link for our little holiday party the day before break begins. It is the same day as the concert, so we will watch Christmas movies with a couple of winter activities. I’m hoping to have some pizza and snacks for lunch in our room! And then the concert is at 1:30 that day!
