Agri Enterprises collaborates with the 4 commercial banks that form the Banking Association of South Africa (BASA), leverages Agri SA’s network of more than 60 corporates that have shared their interest in bringing CSI / SED money to the projects.
It would not be the goal for project sponsor to pay for and fund this endeavor by themselves.

Omri was appointed Executive Director of Agri SA in December 2015, representing 28 000 commercial farmers in 9provinces, 27 commodity organisations in various fora and 60 corporate members. He was subsequently appointedas the CEO of Agri SA Enterprises (PTY) Ltd. the commercial arm of Agri SA. He manages a team that has a strongstrategic focus on agriculture development, strategy, operations and deal-making in the industry.
Omri is one of the prominent thought leaders and strategists in South Africa and has advised several clients onstrategic interventions in the industry. Some of his achievements includes being the leader of the Co-operativesdivision of the World Farmers Organisation, as well as the President of the Audit Board. His executive positionsinclude being a trustee on the Sasol Agriculture Trust, a member of Danroc’s Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Agri SA, Omri was a senior associate with Deloitte Consulting and managed a portfolio of businessesincluding the Revenue Maximisation Unit in Africa, the Deloitte Africa Agribusiness Unit. He was a member of theDeloitte Global Agribusiness Forum, dealing with multinationals and strategic interventions of these companies. Inhis career he did several strategies, due diligences and mergers and acquisitions in the agriculture sector. InDeloitte’s Forensic Unit he was part of several commercial, fraud and corruption investigations where he led a teamof forensic experts in the pursuit of justice. As an attorney, Omri specialised in commercial law and litigation.
In November 2016, he is named continental winner by CEO Global in their “Leading African RecognitionProgramme” in the category for agriculture.

Buyambo is currently the Business Development Manager for AgriSA Enterprises. His experience in the agriculturalsector is broad as it started as a Junior Economist and Production Advisor and National Agricultural Marketing Counciland National Wool Growers Association respectively. His experience has however touched primary agriculture, spreadingto the value chain and through to strategic work in the industry.
He has been exposed to strategy evaluation of international agribusinesses having spent a couple of years working inBeijing China responsible for strategy analysis, China/Asia market entry strategies, opportunity assessments andplanning for businesses looking to penetrate the difficult Chinese and Asian markets. His recent work at AgriSA hasfurther exposed him to project feasibility analysis, technical and financial due diligence in agricultural sector

Wesley’s exposure to practical farm work in a variety of subsectors is complimented by the analytical work he did atthe RussellStone Group as a research intern along with his experience as a registered SAFEX commodity andcurrency trader at BVG Commodities. He also has exposure to financial risk modelling and project development andmanagement.
He currently coordinates and actively develops agricultural projects across the Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng,Limpopo and North West provinces. He is skilled in financial modelling with a key focus across various horticulturalcrops. Coordination entails the origination, budgeting, research, modelling, structuring, compliance, deal makingand packaging of projects to get them ready for credit / investment committee.

Craig has a background in facilitation and program development. His time looking into agricultural investmentopportunities and project management have ideally situated him for his role in Agri SA’s Enterprises. His day-to-dayactives involve coordination of agricultural investment opportunities across provinces.
Craig currently coordinates and actively develops agricultural projects across the all the 9 provinces in the country.He has been involved with traditional leader consultation and coordination for two years while at Agri SA – later AgriEnterprises. Craig is skilled in financial modelling with a key focus across various agronomic crops Coordinationentails the origination, budgeting, research, modelling, structuring, compliance, deal making and packaging ofprojects to get them ready for credit / investment committee.

Sulaimaan is the latest addition to the Agri SA Enterprises team. He is a recent graduate from StellenboschUniversity. He is eager to adapt grow into the Agri SA Enterprises culture. Sulaimaan's forte is research andadministration.
