An Opportunity to GiveEach year Annunciation of the Lord parish puts an Angel Tree in the Narthex.  Each Angel tag represents a child from our local Catholic schools in need of a gift this Christmas. 

Thank you to everyone who took a tag. Please remember to return your unwrapped gift by next Sunday, December 9th.  The

suggested value of each gift should be between $20 and $30.

This week, food ornaments (mittens) are on the Angel Tree. These requested staples and goodies are what make our Christmas hampers festive. Please take a mitten home and return the food item next weekend or by December 16th at the latest. Thank you for your generosity!

TD McGee Children’s Christmas StoreThomas D'Arcy McGee Catholic School is holding their annual Christmas Sale for students.  We are looking for donations of gently used items to include in our sale (e.g. picture frames, children's books and toys, gifts for moms and dads, candles, mugs, jewelry, novelty items, etc).  We are also seeking donations of gift wrapping so that each child can take home a beautifully wrapped gift to

put under the tree for their family members.  All donations can be dropped of at Thomas D'Arcy McGee School (635 Laverendrye Drive) any weekday between 8:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Nazareth Family DaySaturday, December 8th, 9am - 2pm in Parish Hall

Are you interested in learning more about Nazareth Family Apostolate? All Families are welcome.

Mass at 9am, followed by social time in the hall and a snack/activity time for children. Rosary after lunch.Lunch at noon is a cold pot-luck. ** All food must be nut-free please.**Please bring a main dish (sandwiches/wraps are great), cheese/crackers, veg/dips, or salad or dessert, and drinks (juice/pop/juice boxes). Cups, plates, utensils will be supplied.

The Widows’ Group will meet in Rm.25 on Fri. Dec. 7th at 10:30 am. If this is your first Christmas alone, come join us for fellowship and prayer. KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMASAdvent is a time of preparing the way of the Lord and for Christ’s coming among us in His Incarnation. We all have people in our lives who have moved away from the practice of their Catholic Faith.  In this Season of Advent let us be intentional about praying daily for  specific people who we’d like to see blessed this Christmas with the Joy of a personal encounter with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
