Fr. Ben’s Message:
An “attitude of gratitude” was one of Fr.
Michael’s quotes from his Mother. I have much
gratitude for Michael coming and spending time
with us and getting to first hand witness the
beautiful place where we live. He also
experienced Astoria in the rain, the cold, and the
sunshine.
The color this week is rose, a sign of hope and
joy in the Advent season. The desert is
blooming, people are changing. The blind are
seeing, deaf are hearing, and the Lord is coming.
St. James in the 2nd
Reading encourages us to be
patient. Patience is easy to talk about, but hard to
do.
This week you again have several opportunities
to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. To
be patient with others, to no longer be blind to
your sins, and to rejoice in God’s forgiveness.
Let us live in an “attitude of gratitude”.

All are always invited, but that night is a special
invitation to everyone to come learn, pray, and
prepare for our Savior’s Birth.
(Please meet in the church and we will process to the gym)
Weather ~ Prudence We have 10 days left in the Fall, but this week

understands so don’t take unnecessary risks.

ministry of Jesus’s, but we can’t just ask people to
take our word for it; our actions must speak for us.

Dios.
Vivamos en una "actitud de gratitud".
