To ensure maximum operator fl exibility, KEMTRON has invested in the development of a proprietary graphical user interface touch-screen control systems. Depending on your budget and performance needs, KEMTRON’s Barite Recovery & Dewatering Centrifuges can be fi tted with a variety of options including a Variable Frequency Drive (“VFD”), Dual-Sheave Poly-chain, Mechanical Variable Drive (“DSP MVD”), or Fully Variable Hydraulic Drive (“FHD”). updates, and a custom designed user interface that allows for maximum operating fl exibility and control. KEMTRON’s proprietary user interface provides complete control of all systems, as well as, a sophisticated set of diagnostic tools, information libraries and read-only fault logs.
Variable Frequency Drive
Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) provide complete variable functionality for the main drive, back drive, and feed pump. The VFD uses signifi cantly less energy, therefore allowing for lower operating costs. The VFD can also allow the operator to quickly respond to varying conditions to improve operations.
Dual-Sheave Poly-chain, Mechanical Variable Drive
By utilizing a DSP MVD, operators can operate the centrifuge at two different speeds without the complete disassembly of the fl uid-end and sheaves, or the cost of the VFD control system. Instead, by simply loosening the jack bolts on the motor mount base-plate, the poly-chain can be adjusted to the adjacent sheave.
Fully Variable Hydraulic Drive
Fully Variable Hydraulic Drives (FHD) utilize hydraulic oil as a means by which torque is transmitted to provide power. The FHD’s design can handle a wide variety of environments. This effi cient option allows operators to experience a reduction in noise as well as enjoy cost savings associated with energy usage.
