Dear Christites,

I am aware that I am rare. Who wants to be

p la in when you can be un ique?

Helena Bonham Carter

Every student is unique in his or her

strength and calibre, and it is the job of the

teacher to foster the highly individualized

learning response of the student.

We believe that every learner is unique and special and that one

has the ability to learn one's own way. As educators we

understand our responsibility to nurture and develop every

learner and to prepare him\her for life. A well chalked out

curricular and co-curricular programme enables the students

to attain their full potential and they develop sound work

habits. The curriculum continues to be regularly reviewed

to ensure that it keeps meeting the needs of our learners. It

contains the acqusition of knowledge and understanding,

ideas for critical thinking and inculcates problem solving

abilities in all students attending our school. As

Christites, our uniqueness, our individuality and our life

experience mould us into fascinating persons.

We strongly believe in the importance of teachers,

parents and administration collaborating and

communicating with each other openly and

frequently. We continually improve the quality of

tools of communication, giving the parents access

to an interactive website where they retrieve

pertinent information about their children's

academic and other achievements.

You are encouraged to regularly check our website

and read about our exciting academic and co-

curricular activities. We look forward to serving you

and your children over the coming years. We pride

ourselves in helping them grow and develop into

sensitive and responsible citizens of the future world.

God Bless you all……

COUNSELLOR SPEAKS...

The growing popularity of computer, video games and television has influenced the

children and that makes the children very inactive in their life. The time spent with these

things could be spent in some physical activities. Parents need to be role models for

their children. If the parents are very active, the children are likely to be more active early on and will

stay active for the rest of their life.

The importance of sports in the life of a young student is vital and goes much further than the basic

objective that it instils lessons that are essential in the life of a student. Sports play a pivotal role in the

makeup of a young person, especially in the middle school and high school years. An active student tends

to be much more mature and mentally developed. Where else can a young, impressionable young person

learn values like discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, sacrifice, and resourcefulness?

Sports play a great role in everyone's busy life especially that of a young student. Sports eliminate mental

tension. Education is incomplete without sports. Everyone needs to be coaxed into some sporting

activities at least for a short time every day. They are necessary because they bring physical and mental

fitness to the person. In order to live relaxed and comfortable life, one needs a sound mind and a sound

body. Education is very necessary and rise high in life with a name, fame and money. In the same way

sporting activities lets one to enjoy that life for a longer period.

In Christ we motivate our students to participate in a number of sports activities as they contribute

their overall and integral development.

Parents and teachers often make the mistake of harping on

and on about goals, focus, determination, commitment,

hard work and other boring jargon. That might be exactly

what is necessary but there's a better side to life to be

shown. Young kids need to know how education can make life

awesome. Exams should be seen as challenges rather than

problems. Think about how learning should ideally be fun, not

stressful. Jot your thoughts down on a note and give it to

someone who is reeling under the stress of exams and tests. A

little encouragement can go a long way in changing

someone's perspective of life.

1) In life, NO ONE and NOTHING will help you until you start

helping YOURSELF.

2) Every problem might not have a solution right now, but

don't forget that but every solution was once a problem.

3) It is true that experience is one of life's best teachers. But if

you don't study you will probably never get any experience in

the first place.

4) In real life, there is no such thing as second place. Either

you are a winner, or you're not.

5) Listen to your teachers when they tell you WHAT to do. But

more importantly, think about it later and ask yourself WHY they

told you to do it.

CHILDREN’S DAY

Blue is the colour of inclusiveness and it represents anything that is vast and beyond. Whether it is ocean or sea,

blue is the colour of them all. Blue is associated with imagination and inspiration. It represents meanings of

depth, trust, wisdom, loyalty and intelligence. Blue connects us with mother Earth. It was delightful to see the

students in Blue costumes.

Red colour is expressive vibrant and fun. Red creates emotions such as passion, fear, excitement, caution and

love. Red can also symbolize many different things and emotions at once. Red is a complex yet familiar. The

students were led to the world of colours with their significance and symbolism. The colour’s day was filled with

activities which in turn filled us with excitement.

The Christites celebrated

Colour’s Day in the school.

The Christ family was in

different colours of blue and

red selected by Class V and

class IV respectively. The m e a n i n g ,

purpose, and significance of blue and red were explained by the

students by means of their performance. They made everyone aware that we are

blessed to be living in an era, in which people have understood the power of colours and their effects on

human life. Colours have been used for healing for ages. They play a major role in setting our mood,

emotions and feelings . It is also a form of communication. Everyone has his or her favorite color.

Colours trigger our memories. The message of the day was to make life colourful.

Christo Faction Camp is something which has always made us happy. Like every year, this year also

we conducted the Christo Faction Camp for the students of the school.

The main objectives of the camp were,i) To engage the students in activities that they find both enjoyable

and meaningful.ii) To foster a better and friendly relationship between students and

teachers. iii) To provide a platform for all the students to explore and

express their creativity.

This year we had Fr. Tomy CMI as the resource person, who

indeed was an enthusiastic person who connected with the

students. Fr. Tomy conducted various informative and

interesting sessions, with the help of movies and short films.

We also had the Sisters to teach the students melodious action

songs, which made them more vibrant.

CHRISTO FACTION: An Awesome and Educational Camp

I take great pride in stating that the whole team of Christ School motivated and empowered its

students to be life learners, critical thinkers and productive members of the fast changing global

society.

Through this camp the school provided the students with an atmosphere for multifaceted

development, where they were encouraged to channelize their potential in pursuit of excellence. This

camp was a positive break from everyday academics; it was a lesson related to life and the skill of

living. The facilities provided by the school were up to the mark. Food was awesome and full of

nutrition. I Congratulate the whole Christ family, for providing our children with whatever is needed

for them to grow into creative and capable human beings.

Christ School organized an overnight camp for

the students. Camp was planned with a mixture

of dance, fun and games which filled it with thrill

and excitement. The teachers participated

enthusiastically along with the students and got

to know them well. The exercise was a help

towards molding them into responsive citizens

of the future.

Camping offers the student an opportunity to be

independent. Although some of them did not

know what to expect, and were skeptical about

it, at the end, all fears turned into a broad smile

when we meet with our children again and they

shared their experience with us.

creation, sense of humor and inculcate the

moral value was the main motto of the camp. A

day without the lap of mumma and papa and

come under the sweet shade of teachers are

really loving and heart touching. It carves niche
