Debt

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom. 6:23 NIV) “I owed a debt I could not pay.” “Jesus paid a debt he did not owe.” “Christ Jesus paid the debt that I could never pay.” Jesus tells the story of a man who owed his master a debt that was so large he had no hope of ever being able to pay the debt. His master, out of compassion for him, forgave the entire debt. That same man went out from his master and found another man who owed him a small amount of money. He grabbed him and choked him and demanded the man pay him back. The man begged for patience and time to repay. The other man refused and had him thrown into jail. When the master who had forgiven the man heard of his wicked actions he told him he should have been merciful just as mercy had been extended to him. When Jesus forgives my debts, I need to strive to become like him and be willing to forgive the debts of those who sin against me. The heart of the gospel. The grace of God changing the hearts of men to become like God. -Dewayne

Fellowship Is Building A Relationship

Acts 2:44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. (NASB) Family reunions can be a little awkward. In Mexico I lived in the city and the rest of my cousins lived in small towns. Every time we visited, there were new cousins and boyfriends and girlfriends. I could never figure out who was an uncle, a cousin or just a neighbor. Most of the time I felt out of place. Some times the same thoughts are expressed regarding fellowships. I don’t know anyone. I don’t know those I should know and I have been coming here for a long time. Our fellowships are about family getting together and catching up! We usually just say hi, or shake a hand and smile. Our fellowships should involve talking to each other about what is going on in our lives. The Christians looked forward to fellowship! They knew that after worshipping God, they were going to connect with each other. It was a time to build relationships. - David

His military decorations include the Meritorious Service Metal (4 times), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation (4 times), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 times), numerous unit commendations and campaign medals. Safety Information from the Elders

To provide a more secure environment for our congregation, we are implementing a series of basic security measures. Initially, this will include directing everyone through the main entrances of our building. Accommodations may be made on a case-by-case basis for unlocking other entry points. We appreciate your cooperation and wish to emphasize this is being implemented in a spirit of appropriate precaution and not in response to any known threat.

Some measures may prove slightly inconvenient. We prayerfully request your understanding and patience as we strive to ensure the safety of our church family.
