The glamour of 101010 has made the i945 and radeon chipset bug digest in #canonical stomach

You already have reason #1 to ditch Ubuntu

But why have an affair with Debian :P :3

Reason #1Because its not Linux it is GNU/Linux

Why you forget any distro based on Linux kernel is Linux kernel + most of the basic OS tools from the GNU project

So, No Linux only GNU/Linux

Reason #2Stability and Security

Increased stability and security testing.

Debian is also one of the best platform for servers {depends on you}.

Debian {Stable} has no bleeding edge but it nonetheless functions well.

If you want to use “Bleeding Edge” use the Testing repos and /you be set in no time.

Not to forget Debian Testing and Unstable are more “Stable” then those who claims to be stable

Reason #2Debian is an absolutely free software.
