Dear Victim of Linda Ellis,

I am one of the hundreds of people accused of copyright infringement by Linda Ellis author of The Dash. Your organization was required to post a response on the internet. I have identified 51 victims who have settled rather than challenge the charge. I am confident that hundreds have received the letters that I have. Her most recent letters are demanding as much as $150,000.

I understand that settlement includes a gag order. My hope is that you will share your story with me along with any information and advise you were given while struggling with this situation. I will respect your privacy and confidence.

Here is my story of copyright infringement.

Someone sent me The Dash Poem. I posted it with author credit and a link to the authors' website. It was up for a few days when Google Alert grabbed my post. I I received an email from John Jolin demanding payment. I took the post down and as you know, they continue to demand a settlement.

In search of information and support I have found scores of people that paid a settlement. These people fall into the following categories:

Faith-based organizations Christian authors Grieving friends and family Bloggers with inspirational blogs.

Members of your organization may have been fired for this infraction and if so, please forward this email to that person. Others may have already gone underground in an effort to avoid paying Ms. Ellis. Again, please forward this email.

According to Ms. Ellis, I am the only person that has ever fought back.. I am not rich and I too run my own nonprofit organization. I need support and information. You are welcome to call or email me below.
