Dear Parents and Guardians, Thank you for your interest in our program. We are excited that you are considering joining us for the 2017-18 school year! Kingswood Programs provides learning and childcare for ages 6 weeks to 5 years, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To best suit your family’s needs, our program comes in different shapes and sizes: Kingswood Care, for ages six weeks up to two years, is available 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Children can register for up to five days a week — the program is flexible to accommodate a wide array of care needs. Morning extended care is available from 8 to 9 a.m. Our program provides age-appropriate opportunities for exploration, play, and learning. Kingswood Preschool is available for age two and up, and includes two, three, four, or five days a week, depending on your child's age. Preschool is 9 a.m. to noon. Preschool classes offer an age-appropriate and nurturing educational environment, with activities in keeping with national curriculum standards. Extended Care is available for students before and after preschool, Monday through Friday. Morning Extended Care, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., comprises of open play and exploration time in classrooms. Afternoon Extended Care, from Noon to 3 p.m., includes structured, thematic enrichment activities that change from month to month. Afternoon Extended Care also includes open play and exploration time, music and art. Enrollment begins Monday, February 13. As usual, classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Preference will be given to current Kingswood families and King’s Way members. Enrollment forms can be downloaded and printed from the Kingswood website (www.KingswoodPrograms.com). Please complete all sections of the forms, and return them to Kingswood or the King’s Way office, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Make sure to attach the registration fee (forms will not be accepted without this). Confirmation of classes will be sent out by April 3. You will be notified sooner if classes are full, and your child has been placed on a wait list. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Also, we are more than happy to arrange a visit for you and your family to talk about which program is best for you.
