Yale Ave. This year’s theme is Tropicana Night, and we are pulling out all the stops with Cabaret Dancers and a spectacular show! This is a great opportunity for you to connect with other members of the Greater Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce while enjoying our vintage 1950s Cuban show.

Last year we grew to 286 members and accomplished several achievements: launching the Mariachi Program in Tulsa Public Schools, funding five $1,000 scholarships at our annual gala, and lobbying for our business community at both the state capitol and in Washington, D.C. Silent Auction Donation Request Letter2016 Tropicana Night

The Chamber hopes that you will take a few moments to read about our upcoming event and decide to participate bydonating to our silent auction. On September 23rd, 2016 we will be hosting our 2016 Tropicana at the Double TreeHotel at Warren Place. This year, we are pulling all the stop with Cabaret Dancers and a spectacular show! We anticipateapproximately 350 guests at this function and the funds raised will go toward benefiting the education initiatives of the Oklahoma Hispanic Chamber Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 entity of the Tulsa Hispanic Chamber. To make this event as exciting and extravagant as we hope we will need your help!

Please consider supporting our event by donating gift certificates, merchandise or services. In exchange, you willreceive excellent community exposure and advertising. ABOUT THE CHAMBER

A Brief HistoryIn the fall of 1998, a group of dedicated Hispanic business owners and community leaders realized the enormous economic impact and potential of the growing Hispanic community in the Tulsa region. Early in 1999, the GTHCC was incorporated in the State of Oklahoma, creating Oklahoma’s first Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Since its inception, the GTHCC has worked toward bringing the issues and concerns of the Tulsa region’s Hispanic owned businesses to the forefront of the local, regional, and state economic agenda. Since 1999 the founders of the GTHCC have been dedicated to establishing credibility in one of the fastest growing economic sectors in Tulsa.

The Chamber CommitmentThe Greater Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has rapidly become one of the fastest growing Chambers of Commerce in the Tulsa Metro. The Chamber is constantly exploring business growth opportunities for its membership and developing successful commercial relationships with the corporate sector of Tulsa. As the leading voice for the Hispanic Business Owner, the GTHCC represents and promotes economic development in the Hispanic community.

Programs and ServicesThe GTHCC Board of Directors is committed to the ongoing development of programs that create added value and serve the diverse needs of its individual, business, and corporate members.

Business DevelopmentThe GTHCC’s primary purpose is to identify and develop business opportunities for Hispanicowned businesses. In doing so, the GTHCC works in conjunction with chamber affiliates in the region and around the country, to maintain direct contact with major corporations and government agencies seeking qualified Hispanic suppliers.

Community ServiceFocuses on developing services to the Hispanic community while working with city, county, and state administrations.

MembershipAs a member of the GTHCC, you become a part of a national network that develops and expands business opportunities for Hispanic entrepreneurs. In addition to direct access to GTHCC programs, members receive special reports on the Hispanic community.
