Dear Colleagues,
The 12th Annual Scientific Meeting of Anaesthesiology (ASM), jointly organized by the Hong Kong College of
Anaesthesiologists and the Society of Anaesthetists of Hong Kong, will be held from 22 - 23 November 2008
at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The meeting is one of the most important gatherings for anaesthetists and medical professionals in
Hong Kong.
This year we will focus on the theme of "Mother, Baby and Anaesthesia" but will also include medical safety
issues, intensive care and pain management. We have assembled an excellent panel of regional and international
speakers at the forefront of their practice to share their experience with us via lectures, symposia, workshops
and problem-based learning programs. Besides providing an update of the best current practice, our distinguished
guest speakers will also provide you a glimpse of practices in other countries.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we look forward to seeing you all at the meeting!
