Dear brothers and sisters,

My time in Madagascar is winding to a close. We recorded the Look, Listen and Live bible story sets inTesaka and Vezo. The man I trained last time, Revoma, recorded in the room next to us: in Bara and Masikoro. Pray for his team which is still finishing up—there was a delay on the script translation. Overall we've been productive and God has kept us strong throughout. Thanks for praying!

Making corrections to Ntandroy, which we recorded last time

On October 27 I proceed to Botswana, where I will be for two weeks. The translation team there has been having problems with their recording machine. Also, a local who was trained last year torecord has moved on. So I plan to train another recordist, Osego, to help. I'll be taking a long bus ride through Botswana to Ghanzi, where I will staywith missionaries Hessel and Coby of SEED company. I will probably re-record some scripturesin Naro and Dxana too. Pray that the problems are sorted out and the team there can resume recordinggreat bible passages.

After Botswana I will stop by Malawi again to touch base with people there. Then, end of November, I'll be coming back home to California!I'm really excited to see you all and get off the road for a bit.

Thank God for all he has done, inspite of our human weaknesses. Pray he would bless everyone who was involved in recording in Madagascar, that they may grow more whole. Also pray for obstacles to the translation and recording work in Madagascar and Bostwana to be broken down.

Yours in Christ,

Joel
