an individual who put his nation first and in doing so he changed and shaped the nation of France to what we know today.
He reformed France and expanded French influence. He became the first emperor of France
Napoleon made his brothers the kings of Spain and Italy and he married his sisters off to royalty, he created strong ties with many countries
Napoleon established the lycée, the final stage of secondary education in France
He expanded the French empire by claiming territory on behalf of France this expansion caused many wars.
Napoleon was defeated by Leipsig a German state, and he was exiled to an island called Elba
Napoleon escaped the island and took control of France again and ruled for a period called the hundred days, he was defeated again at the battle of waterloo and exiled once more and died six years later

Napoleon was a nationalist and he thought that his country was great that is why he tried to take power over so many different countries. However he also knew that for his country that he loved so much to reach it’s full potential he had to make changes and so he made monumental changes.
Some of the changes he made for his nation-
Established the lycée, the final stage of secondary education in France
Centralized the administration of the government departments Implemented a tax system The development of the bank of France The development of civil laws The development of road and sewage systems
In doing and implementing all of these systems Napoleon enhanced and developed the French nation. Napoleon loved his nation so much that he went to extremes to make it something to reckon with and he did.
