Work Experience2014 – 2017 CACI Software Engineer II As part of the Intranet development team, I maintained ColdFusion applications which included

determining compatibility with HTML CSS standards and Section 508 compliance. I also maintained and created HTML pages utilizing CSS and JavaScript. Supported other team members with creating SharePoint 2013 based applications using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath and JSON connections with SPServices, jQuery and JavaScript. As part of examining of technologies, I rebuilt a survey app using Bootstrap CSS and created a calendar tracking app using Semantic UI. I developed several projects using a modified Agile methodology.

Customization of ARCHIBUS forms and query pages using XML/JavaScript based ARCHIBUS language.

As a government employee, I have taken cyber security training and have SF85P security clearance.

1997 – 2013 Bell and Howell Durham, NC System Analyst BlackBerry Application - As the lead developer I created an application that allows 1000 service

technicians to open/edit/close service calls. The application was expanded to do part and inventory searches and alert technicians of customer initiated service calls. As part of the requirements, the application could store changes until the technician had phone data access. The application was built using J2ME for BlackBerry, which I had to learn in order to have the application available for testing within a 3 month deadline. (Case Study: http://www.blackberry.com/products/pdfs/BBH_Agnostic_cs.pdf) The Marketing/Sales department needed an app to scan barcodes at tradeshow for gathering information on sales leads. I created a BB10 based app for the Q10 device to save the information to a SQL server database through .Net web services.

Info Display Screens - Using Adobe Flex, I created multiple information screens for display in the customer call center, site management center and for customer managers and customer sites. The displays use .Net web services and SAP web services for CRM and custom data. I created several custom components for displaying information while creating the screens. I initially created the screens using Flex 3, but upgraded them to Flex 4.6.

Intranet Site- As a temp, I helped create the Intranet for the engineering group, which I then expanded to the entire company. As the webmaster for the Intranet site I was responsible for maintaining consistency for the entire Intranet. On early iteration of the Intranet, I installed Cold Fusion Server 4.5. Since installation, I created over a dozen small web based applications for querying database tables and displaying documents. I learned the FuseBox Methodology and used it to create base layout function to simplify content management. When the site required a new navigation layout and logo based on the recent company merger, I was able to update the entire site of 10,000 pages in a single day.

o .Net - The company merged development teams and the Intranet was converted to .Net. I migrated the custom web applications to .Net, using C# and the .Net Framework. Web based applications included acknowledgement award submission and review form, technical documentation review process, refurbished machine display site and others.

o SharePoint - The Intranet was moved to SharePoint. I used the standard built in tools for SharePoint to replace web applications. I used SharePoint to move departments from file shares to web based document management. I also learned how to administer SharePoint and took over support as other resources left the company.

Internet Site - After setting up the Intranet for the company, I worked with the marketing department to establish an Internet site. I was responsible for maintaining all static pages for the brochure presence included making updates, adding new pages, and creating some graphics. The site was converted to a SharePoint site, then to a .Net based site created by a third party. I currently maintain the IIS server and upload updates to the site created by the Marketing department and help debug any issues with the site.

Database - As part of my developer responsibilities, I create tables, view and stored procedures needed for applications. The company was initially on Oracle, but moved to SAP. The custom applications databases were moved to SQL Server. I also am responsible for making sure that the databases were backed up on a schedule.

Custom Oracle Reports and Forms - When the company was still using Oracle Applications for HR, CRM and Sales tools, I created custom forms and reports. These forms and reports included an employee phone directory, service date/birth date/status search, and a timesheet application for the IS department. All of these applications, except the timesheet, were replaced using ColdFusion and the FuseBox Methodology.

information control, creating a process for document control for the Mail Messaging Technologies (MMT) division, assisting Engineering groups in process creation, and publishing a PIM newsletter. Other responsibilities included creating and maintaining Word templates, creating and maintaining Intranet web pages for Quality/Process Management department and other departments within MMT. I was also responsible for reviewing software tools for process control improvement over the Intranet. Non-assigned duties included training employees on the HTML language and Intranet usage.

1995 - 1996 Bell & Howell Mail Processing Systems (MPS) via Office Specialists, Durham, NCEngineer Associate Performed duties of clerk including data entry for BOM's, ECO creation, and distribution. Other duties

included organization and upkeep of public access drive, creation and maintenance of company templates for Word.

Unassigned duties included creation and maintaining of the engineering department's Intranet site. The engineering Intranet was the company's first Intranet. I helped set up and create the Intranet site, which was the foundation for a later companywide Intranet site.

Other Work ExperienceNov. 1999 – Aug. 2000 Fusion Ventures, LLC Durham, NCWeb Design

Created web site using images and design provided by graphic design company R&M. Also worked for a Fusion Ventures startup company called StartUpStreet.com. Created beta web site for StartUpStreet.com, which included registration, resource search area, and contact methods for users in Cold Fusion. The site was used to gain users before final funding was found for the company.

Special ProjectsMeetup

The Raleigh-Durham Singles Meetup (http://www.meetup.com/RDUSingles/) - Was Organizer for the group from Aug. 2005 through July 2010. As the Organizer I grew the group from 200 members up to 1600 active members doing over 1000 events during the time period, with at least 3 events each week.

The RTP “Let’s Make a Movie Group” (http://www.meetup.com/MakeAMovieRTP/) - Co-Organizer since March 2010. I organized and directed over a dozen short films, which competed in the 48 Hour Film Project (2010, 2011, 2012), filmSPARK 48 Hour Challenge (2011, 2012, 2013) and the 48 Hour Guerrilla Film Contest (2012, 2013). Film entries for the filmSPARK 48 Hour Contests placed in 2nd. I also did editing and some effects for the short films.

BlackBerry 10 App Meetup for BlackBerry 10 – created an application for Meetup members, using Meetup’s

REST API, to view activity, group information and events from their BlackBerry 10 based phones. The application allows for RSVPing for the event, adding the event to the user’s calendar and finding the
