The DE-1000 GBD (Gear Box Drive) centrifuge is mounted on a rugged portable skid and is driven up to 4,000 RPMby a 50 horsepower motor via a fluid coupling which offers a low amp, soft start. The rotating assembly is coupledto a gear box, fitted complete with a spring loaded torque out assembly with manual reset. All stop/start buttons andmanual switches are easy to reach when standing on the skid platform. Transportation brackets enable the rotatingassembly to be raised to protect the bearings during shipment.

Electrical Installation

The centrifuge and feed pump are controlled by starters mounted in explosion proof boxes. For installation, power issupplied to the lower explosion proof electrical box via a 2 inch electrical conduit connection. The centrifuge motorand feed pump motor are then connected to the explosion proof control panel.
