WE’RE A SMALL CANADIAN PUBLISHER AND WE’RE MAKING BIG WAVES

WHO WE ARE and why you should listenDC Canada Education Publishing is a small innovative publisher. Over the past 15 years, we’ve sold millions of books around the world. Our diverse and passionate team consists of writers, editors, illustrators, and creative directors who are dedicated to creating educational materials for children and teachers.

OUR SUCCESS in the industryDC Canada started out publishing ESL textbooks for China back in the 1990s. Through a series of collaborations, a collection of grade 1 - 12, Ministry of Education approved, textbooks were launched. This helped us become an integral part of the curriculum used by public schools in China.

After our tremendous success in China, we extended our mandate to include science, literature, mathematics, and music for the international markets. Our award-winning educational resources are designed for both school and at-home use.

HOW WE EMPOWER TODAY’S YOUTH THROUGH EDUCATION

ESTABLISHING A FOUNDATION for individuals learning englishDC Canada also creates ESL learning resources to help foster total development. We work with both children and adults using music and short stories as tools to educate and empower. Children learn about language, creativity, self-expression, communication, and cultural differences.

EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES for different abilities and skillsDC Canada works with authors and educational consultants to develop products that inspire children. We publish a variety of content that suits children of different abilities and skill levels and help them develop essential thinking and executive function skills.

ENGAGING STUDENTS with nontraditional teaching methodsDC Canada partners with community centers and schools to test products to make sure they fit students’ needs. We provide materials on everything from mathematics and philosophy to the Charter of Rights in a student-friendly format filled with engaging stories, beautiful illustrations, and a wealth of information.

PEOPLE LOVE TO RECOMMEND OUR PRODUCTS

“Clever, quirky, humourous, informative. It’s hard to beat that combination. Then add in the fact that you need this series, and these books go to the top of the ‘Must Buy’ list” — Canadian Materials Magazine

“A fun game for all ages that improves thinking skills and expands the imagination by stimulating everyone to reason and share ideas” — Ottawa Separate School Board

“The kits allow a multidimensional approach to teaching concepts to capture interest and meets the needs of a variety of learning styles” — Woodroffe United Church, After School Program

“These colourful and entertaining stories seek to empower young children” — The Guardian

“The Charter for Children uses animals to teach human lessons much like Aesop’s Fables, allowing children to engage in moral dilemmas. Characters speak in repeated rhymes, lending a Dr. Seuss quality to it that compounds the message” — Professionally Speaking

“Would no doubt enlarge the student’s understanding of self and others in various life situations, teach students to be analytical and evaluate in judgement making and decision and problem solving skills in the learning process. These evaluators all made strong recommendations for their schools to purchase the game” — Librarian and Fellow Canadian College of Teachers

“A very interesting and stimulating game for developing thinking skills and communicating ideas” — Association of Parents of Bright Children
