PROFILE

I have been working for over 25 years in the oil & gas industry. I have worked and have great experience working with international Codes and standards in Piping/Mechanical on various projects across Europe including, Germany, Switzerland, Norway etc and I have on each occasion adapt to their working current working specifications in regards to how the company run their projects documentation and legal requirements.I am familiar with ASME B31.3 Process Piping requirement including PED and PMA.I can review and update technical drawings for the installations and ensure conformity of the as-built status with the design and technical requirement as required by the scope of work, basis of design, and process P & ID’s is designed, and detailed to be safe and fit for purpose in compliance with Codes of Practice such as ASME B31.3. I also good general knowledge of other disciplines.Reporting and updating progress to ensure that timetables and delivery dates are adhered to.I am Oil & Gas/Petrochemical based and have experience in LNG & new/existing Oil/Gas rigs in the detail design and refurbishments, Repair Orders work packs, and new builds specialising in the construction and inspection works in the Piping and Mechanical disciplines, working to European and American standards. Working with the companies associated Cat’s & Spec’s standards and implementing them within the project. The main program that I am accustomed is Microsoft Word & Excel, PDMS - 3D 11.5-12.0 and part of my job includes showing and guiding where required the requirements to others the standards associated with good design practices along with the client’s specifications and standards with a willingness to share knowledge and train/coach others. I am also flexible and a good communicator with good interpersonal and man management skills.Because of my working background knowledge in the construction/fabrication side of things, and as a skilled tradesman (Plater/Fabricator/Welder) this always proves valuable with regards to dealing with the construction problems side to the engineering issues either in the office or out on site (client or in house). I am confident and assertive at taking a-hands on approach in dealing with these types of issues due to my construction knowledge and problem solving issues.
