We hope you will enjoy the many new days out together with thoseestablished favourites.

Our PRICEBUSTER range has been retained and enhanced with all seats at just £15!

Many of our customers enquire about travel times as they are meeting friends or relatives at the destination, or wish to know approximately what time they will be back in the local area. Therefore, as a guide, these are now detailed inside. The time given is from the final pick up point to the destination, or from the destination to the first drop off point. We usually depart for home between 16:30 and 17:00. On certain journeys these take into account a short comfort stop.

Our friends at Shopmobility will continue to manage all bookings on ourbehalf. They are now able to process all forms of payment, including credit and debit cards.

We would like to confirm that we can accommodate small travel scooters, by prior arrangement. You should make this request known at the time of booking.

Each year we have an intake of new vehicles and 2017 is no exception. Many excursions will now be operated by coaches that feature free high speed Wi-Fi and USB charging ports for your mobile phone. They also boast the very latest Euro 6 Ultra Low Emission Engines.

Please remember that you can hire our vehicles for any occasion; they rangefrom 8 -100 seats.

Moreton-in-Marsh Market andBourton-on-the-Water

Our now customary springtime visit to the Cotswolds. The first stop is Moreton-in-Marsh for the renowned weekly market. In the afternoon we take a short drive along to idyllic Bourton-on-the-Water with its river, shops and cafes.

We journey to the pretty town of Petersfield, on the edge of the South Downs, to sample the local weekly market. We then make the short drive to Bordon, home to the all-new Country Market. It is a unique countryside shopping experience. There is an extensive farm shop, garden centre, gift emporium and shopping outlets with stores including the Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Pavers Shoes and Cotton Traders. It’s not all shopping though as there is also a substantial restaurant and coffee shop offering a great variety of food within a welcoming environment.

Tewkesbury on Market Day and the Vale of Evesham

We make our way to Gloucestershire and to the town of Tewkesbury for market day.The town itself sits on the banks of the River Severn and is most noted for its Abbey, which is the second largest parish church in the country and a former Benedictine Monastery. London’s Borough Market andBank of England Museum

We arrive in Borough just in time for lunch. This food market is the oldest andlargest in London. There are over one hundred stalls selling a vast array offoodstuffs from all over the world. A warren of passageways and open spaces offer shoppers an exciting and almost endless experience. Later in the afternoon we take a short drive across the River Thames into the City of London and to the Bank of England Museum. Here you will discover the history of the bank, its buildings and the people who have shaped it for the last 300 years. (Admission is Free)

We head for the Garden of England and to the City of Canterbury. Most famous for its Cathedral and together with the nearby St Augustine’s Abbey and St Martin’s Church these form a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other attractions here include the Chaucer-themed Canterbury Tales, Canterbury Castle, The Roman Museum,The Heritage Museum and the River Stour. This attractive City also boastsextraordinary architecture, boutique shops, malls and numerous eateries.

After lunch we will tour theGower Peninsula, the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Dorchester Market and West Bay (Broadchurch)

We make our way down to the county of Dorset and to the town of Dorchester for its Wednesday market. There are over 500 stalls selling a vast variety of products, ranging from local produce, second hand bric-a-brac and antiques. In the afternoon we take a short drive along to West Bay with its picturesque harbour and numerous eateries. West Bay has recently seen notoriety as filming locations in both Harbour Lights & Broadchurch. Our stay here will be for at least three hours to enable those who follow Broadchurch to explore the village and cliff tops.

An official residence of The Royal Family, Windsor has much to offer the visitor. Bridport on Market Day and Charmouth

We travel directly to the East Dorset town of Bridport for the local weekly market. After lunch we continue west and spend the remainder of the afternoon in historic Charmouth. This picturesque village has a number of shops and cafes, but it is best known for its beach which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Heritage Centre (free admission) provides a unique insight into this area’s Jurassic Coastline. Here you can explore its past and marvel at the extensive collection of locally found fossils.

Greenwich

Situated on the River Thames in East London, Greenwich is steeped in maritime history and is designated a World Heritage Site. It is home to Greenwich Meantime and the Meridian Line. You may also wish to visit Sir Christopher Wrens Royal Naval College, the National Maritime Museum, the restored clipper ship the Cutty Sark, or simply stroll through thebeautiful Greenwich Park. The picturesque Dorset town of Shaftesbury lays claim to the pictorial Gold Hill.Seen on our television screens most memorably in the Hovis advert, yet morerecently in the BBC drama, Poldark. Later in the day we continue onto the historic town of Sherborne with it’s Abbey, Castle ruins and antique shops.

Oxford or Blenheim Palace

We travel north to the dreaming spires of Oxford. Here you can follow in thefootsteps of Inspector Morse and more recently Lewis through the historic colleges, its buildings, greens and passage ways. Perhaps visit one of the museums such as the Ashmolean, the world’s first university museum housing half a million years of art and archaeology; the Pitt Rivers Museum with its vast anthropologicalcollection; or maybe the Museum of Natural History displaying many of theuniversity’s life, earth and archival collections. Alternatively, our coach will continue the short distance onto Blenheim Palace, home to the Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. City of Cambridge and the American Cemetery and Memorial

Initially we travel to the outskirts of Cambridge and include a short visit to the only American World War Two military cemetery and memorial in the British Isles.Officially opened in 1956 there are over 4000 headstones. A visitor’s centre contains exhibits about some of those individuals interred or remembered here.This picturesque city itself sits on the River Cam and is home to the prestigiousuniversity. As well as the historic and fine-looking university colleges otherattractions include, the Fitzwilliam Museum of antique and modern art, the Churchof St Mary the Great and the botanic gardens.

Poppy Factory & Richmond-upon-Thames

The Poppy Factory is the country’s leading employment charity for veterans with health conditions or impairments. Terms and Conditions for Day Excursions

1. Smoking & AlcoholSmoking & the consumption of alcohol on boardour vehicles is strictly forbidden. Alcohol illnesswithin the vehicle will result in a minimum charge of £100, payable to the driver on the day.

2. ComplaintsShould you have any problem or complaint,it is essential that you notify the driverimmediately. If you then remain of the opinionit has not been dealt with satisfactorily, youshould notify our office within 7 daysof the date of your excursion.

3. Conveyance of AnimalsNo animals (other than assistance, hearing andguide dogs notified to Mortons Travel Ltd inadvance) may be carried on any vehiclewithout prior written agreement from thecompany.

4. SeatingAt the time of booking a seat number will beallocated which is clearly stated on the ticketissued. Unless otherwise agreed with thecompany this must be the seat occupiedon the date of travel.Seating positions can vary and could be amended due to a vehicle substitution, therefore they cannot be guaranteed.

5. Operational ChangesAdvertised itineraries may vary owing to trafficconditions and drivers permitted working hours.

6. Mobility Scooters and WheelchairsSmall travel scooters can be accommodatedby prior arrangement. You should make thisrequest known at the time of booking. The carriage of collapsible wheelchairsis also acceptable if notified to thecompany prior to the date of travel.

7. Booking & PaymentFull payment for any trip must be made at the time of booking. Cash payments on thethe day are not accepted unless agreed withMortons Travel Ltd in advance. Credit cards(excluding American Express) will incur a 2% surcharge.

8. PricesWhen ‘Child’ prices are quoted these areapplicable for children aged between 0 and 15 inclusive.

9. LuggageThe carriage of luggage is entirely at owners risk.Mortons Travel Ltd will not be responsiblefor any damage to, or loss of, personalproperty carried within the luggage or passengerarea.

10. Coach Depot Parking

Parking of passenger’s vehicles travelling on dayexcursions cannot be accommodated at thecompany’s depot.

11. Cancellation by YouDue to the administration costs incurred we have had to take the regrettable decision to introduce a NO REFUND policy on all of our excursion departures. Full payment must be made at the time of booking. If you decide to cancel a trip we will no longer be able toreimburse any monies paid. We apologise for any inconvenience this necessary decision will cause. Should you be unable to travel on a particular trip you may allow anotherperson to travel using your ticket on the sameexcursion, providing they board at the same point. Tickets are not transferable from one excursion to another.

12. Cancellation by UsDue to operational reasons we reserve the rightto cancel or amend any trip at short notice.In the event of cancellation by us a full refundor credit note will be given by the company.

If a third party cancels an event or service wereserve the right to retain £5 from your bookingcosts for administration.
