The works also include the removal of the existing passenger shelter on the city bound platform. Day works commencing Thursday 6 April to Thursday 13 April 2017, between the hours of 7am and 7pm for works at Bowden Railway Station. Continuous works (24 hours) commencing Good Friday 14 April to Monday 24 April 2017, at Park Terrace, Gibson Street, Bowden Railway Station and the rail corridors in the Park Lands, for the following: Park Terrace bridge: construction of the road/rail bridge. Gibson Street bridge: piling and installation of the road/rail bridge. Torrens Junction bridge: piling and services installation of the rail bridge in the Park Lands. Piling works: along the existing rail corridor on the Outer Harbor/Grange lines between East Street and Gibson Street, and in the Park Lands alongside the interstate freight line. Equipment Piling rigs, cranes, excavators, tip, tandem and concrete trucks, lighting towers and light vehicles will be used to perform these works. Traffic Management Park Terrace, from Good Friday 14 April to Wednesday 26 April 2017, will remain open in both directions at all times with speed and lane restrictions. Delays can be expected and motorists are urged to plan ahead, find alternate routes, and allow extra travel time. Signage will be in place to advise motorists, cyclists and pedestrians of changed traffic conditions. Traffic controllers will also be on site to guide motorists, cyclists and pedestrians around the work sites as required. Gibson Street between First Street and Third Street, will remain temporarily closed until the evening of Monday 24 April 2017, to vehicles and cyclists, for night and day works at the Gibson Street level crossing. Pedestrian access will be provided until 14 April 2017. From 14 April to 24 April 2017, pedestrians will be required to detour via East Street or Park Terrace. East Street will remain open during April 2017, as a key detour route for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.

Day and night construction activities in April 2017

As part of the Torrens Rail Junction Project, the ConneXion Alliance will be undertaking the following activities:

Night works between the hours of 7pm and 7am will be undertaken at Bowden Railway Station over the next week to complete the demolition of approximately 50 metres of the city bound railway platform and adjacent Outer Harbor Greenway. The works also include the removal of the existing passenger shelter on the city bound platform.

Day works commencing Thursday 6 April to Thursday 13 April 2017, between the hours of 7am and 7pm for works at Bowden Railway Station.

Continuous works (24 hours) commencing Good Friday 14 April to Monday 24 April 2017, at Park Terrace, Gibson Street, Bowden Railway Station and the rail corridors in the Park Lands, for the following: • Park Terrace bridge: construction of the road/rail bridge.

• Gibson Street bridge: piling and installation of the road/rail bridge.

Noise and Vibration Management

Works will be managed to minimise disturbances to local residents, however some noise can be expected. Residents in close proximity to the works may experience some light vibration as a result of these works. There will also be truck movements during the night for the delivery of construction materials.

Pedestrian and cycling detours

Alternate routes for pedestrians and cyclists are attached. Details are also available at Cycle Instead (http://maps.sa.gov.au/cycleinstead/).
