Due to shortened seasons across all spring sports, consideration was given to the body of work

extending from the previous season, off season work and the 2019-2020 season when selecting

nominees and award winners.

Also, this list does not include certain awards that would not contain nominees such as high

point earners, varsity letters, captain awards, manager awards etc. These awards will be posted

on May 11th with all award winners.

The volleyball athletes received their awards and recognition during the fall sports banquet in

November.

A huge congrats to all of the winners! The JV girls won their region and went a perfect 8-0 in

region play. The varsity team qualified for state playoffs in their first year!

I am so incredibly proud of everything you all have accomplished on and off the court.

Davidson Athletic Managers

I wanted to give a special shout out to all of the managers that we had this year. They contribute

in so many ways, often for little recognition. They have helped complete paperwork, file and

organize, assist with practices and meets, traveled with the teams, helped feed and prepare

items for the athletes and so much more. I could not be more proud of you all and wanted to say

thank you from the bottom of my heart.

2019 Junior Olympics

These two young ladies qualified through several rounds of track meets to advance all the way

to the pinnacle of youth track and field, the Junior Olympics. The JO took place in North

Carolina in July of 2019 with athletes from all states and several countries.

They represented Davidson and their state of Georgia well. Congrats to both of you on this

amazing achievement!!!
