At David’s, tradition is put on the table with our casual cuisine offerings inspired by countryside Shanghai. Our wholesome fare combines traditional dishes with contemporary tastes. Many of our recipes have been passed down from great grandmothers and are perfect to share with family, friends and colleagues.

The menu emphasises honest, homely food, usually reserved for Shanghai locals. Expect simple dishes full of flavours; sharing and slurping is encour-aged.

Whether it’s an informal cocktail event with a Shanghai sparkle or a sit-down celebration that’s the whole shebang, David’s Restaurant has you cov-ered. Minimum Charge: There are no room hire fees however exclusive use of part or the entire venue would incur a minimum spend which is inclusive of all food and beverage costs associated with the function. Minimum spend is dependent on the meal period, the day chosen as listed below and is dif-ferent during festive seasons. They are however not set in stone and we are always open to negotiations. Function Hours: All functions have a duration of 4 hours unless previously specified. Each extra hour over the 4 hour maximum will incur a fee of $300.

*Yum Cha sitting times are either 11:30am or 1:30pm. Maximum duration for functions during Yum Cha is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Only Yum Cha is served for Saturday and Sunday lunches, unless whole venue is booked out.

T&C: Confirmation and deposit: A deposit of 25% of agreed minimum spend is required to confirm all function bookings and due 7 days before the func-tion. Final payment is required at the end of the function.

Menu and beverage choices must be confirmed at least one week, altera-tions after this date will incur a fee. Final numbers must be confirmed 48 hours prior to the function. The final invoice will be based on the agreed and confirmed numbers at that time.
